01. Russell Brand on phone addiction // I am definitely phone-addicted and I very badly want to not be; running a business using your phone makes this complicated but that’s no longer a justification I’m willing to make
02. A new clean deodorant // I use the lavender scent, Steve uses coconut, they all smell light and fantastic; 100% of users had no irritation! Try it. DM me first on @itsahuntlifewellness for a special offer I’m doing right now; P.S. it cuts down on greenhouse gases because it is a refill! when it runs out, you purchase cartridges to insert right back into it
03. This spa-like playlist // I’ve had it on through our school days this week and it’s just right
04. Meditation // I’ve done it every morning for nearly a month, and some evenings too. I use Insight Timer to do so and it has been life-giving.
05. Jenni Desmond books // We’re reading these, and others, alongside our ecosystems study and her books are my new favorite children’s books!
06. Kindness // I follow Sharon Says So on Instagram alongside so many of you. One thing that keeps sticking out in my mind is “we cannot work for each other’s mutual destruction.” No us, them, just us. Another: there is a difference between listening to understand and listening to respond. Wow, yes. Convicted on that one, for sure.
07. Sports bras // I rarely buy sports bras and sometimes am put off by the prices of some ($60 for a sports bra?); after clicking around for too long, I saw these last week (granting, they were on sale) and bought a few hoping they’d meet my needs. They do! Favorite ones in awhile.
08. The book I’m reading // A really good choice for the start of a new year.
09. A soup recipe // I’ve made this twice in the last few weeks and it is so good. Absolutely in regular rotation here.
10. Menstrual cups // I’m talking about my love of them, and my hack that made mine fit much more comfortably over here if you’re looking to introduce greater sustainability (and fewer cramps) in the new year.

so many gems in this post!
a) the phone addiction is real. I just read a book called “how to break up with your phone” and it’s been such a huge help! I feel like finding my “why” is really important, too. I feel like my addiction to the phone is affecting my kids, and that hurts my soul.
b) thank you for the playlist suggestion. I have gotten so many amazing playlist tip-offs from you over the years, and music is constantly on in my home so I love hearing about new ones.
c) the diva cup tip… WHAAAAA?! My mind just blew up. I have all but written off the cups because of the fit. Now I feel I need to give it another try!
Thanks, Bridget!
