How are you all hanging in there during this strange election-limbo? I feel like I can see the electoral college map even in my sleep at this point. I know for many of us, the stakes on this election result are so high, the feelings on this outcome so strong–and I wish I could hug each and every one of you with weary, tired hearts. It’s been strange to see a lot of ‘business as usual’ on Instagram… or people even moving straight to Christmas decorating, even. I know I can be guilty of that myself (and perhaps that’s exactly what I’m doing by having a Friday links post at all…). My mind feels a bit crowded and anxious, and I’m sure for many of you, the noise is deafening. I’m thinking of you, and hoping we move out of limbo soon. And, that we begin to heal the many, many divides this country has. Hang in there, friends.
A few links for weekend reading for you… and a picture of the boys having hot chocolate at the park the other day.
I love using a scoop of this in my whites, or any laundry that is a little stinky. Use itsahuntlife for 10% off starter kits!
I love these sweet ornaments (just dabbling — only dabbling! — in Christmas.).
The time of year is here for buttered hot cocoa. Truly the best. You’ll never go back.
The school at home section of Heirloom is my favorite. Honestly, everything there is my favorite.
I love this flowy top.
“…whose tales are so tall it reads more like a book of folk tales for grown-ups.” I’d like to read Matthew McConaughey’s new book.
These brownies are very, very good such that I’ve never really tried another recipe since making this one.
One of my favorite cookbooks right now.
Let Dave sing to you.
Let John sing to you.
The best pajamas (that pass down, and pass down) are 40% off.
One of the funnier memes of the last few days.
Have you seen the trailer for season 4 of The Crown? I am amazed at the resemblance between Diana and the actresss playing her. It gave me full body chills. Do you think Harry and William watch? How bizarre it would be.
I try not to fawn over other peoples’ homes much but holy moly, Ellen’s Montecito home is for sale and it is reeeeally nice.
My friend Kate wrote a book of poetry, and it is really beautiful and you might love a copy.
Used this eyeshadow yesterday and I loved it. And Beautycounter’s social mission VP talking about safety with color cosmetics!
See you next week!

I think last year you shared some funds from a gorgeous online Christmas store- wooden advent calendars, etc. Does this ring a bell? Could you share a link to the site? Thank you.
