Blessings, ones all. Today is a big day, all of us hoping for a certain outcome. There’s a collective buzzy energy in the air, and I’m hoping you’re able to take a deep breath–outdoors is a bonus–and find some peace. Now how about five things I am loving right now?
01. Books read by E.B. White. I already loved his children’s books but you ready to take it up a notch? His own books read by him. He has the most endearing voice, the slightest New York accent, and his narrations are perfect. We have loved listening to Trumpet of the Swan and, while I will generally say that reading aloud yourself to your kids is top notch, I’m going to boldly say that it’s actually second place here to being read to by E.B. White. I just reserved Charlotte’s Web next, also read by him. (I use the Overdrive App on my phone, and it is linked to my library; I don’t purchase these audiobooks.)
02. Beautycounter’s holiday line. They really knock it out of the park every year, but my favorite favorites this year? This palette (all of the colors are so good–highlighter, blush, and four eyeshadows. I’ve been using it every day.), the jellies in shimmer (I love these, and wear them all the time), and this set that includes our two top sellers–the C serum, and the peel (everyone, and I mean everyone should be using the peel!). That last one is almost out of stock so move on it if you’re interested!
03. This delicious mini meatloaf/mashed potato dinner as we head into winter. I made it last weekend and it was really, really good.
04. This beautiful, simple nativity set. You could even have your kids decorate it–though it’s beautiful just as it is too. I love these trees too. I know I’m a bit early, but things sell out!
05. The Rich Roll podcast. Every interview, I find something that resonates with me whether they’re talking about health from a holistic standpoint, or the environment, or spirituality. He recently had the incredible Chris Burkard on, and Matthew McConaughey (whose new book I’m intrigued by). It takes me approximately 3-4 days to get through a 1-hour podcast these days, but I eventually finish them. My podcast listening time is usually when I’m getting ready in the morning or when doing laundry. Yours?

If you love E.B. White you should check out a children’s biography of him called Some Writer. It’s so charming and will make you love him even more! Also, I find the Libby app way more user-friendly for borrowing library audiobooks than Overdrive. 🙂

I love the idea of listening to books with the kids- I’ll see if our library carries this audio version- thanks!
I’ve just received the peel- it’s been in my cart for months, finally went for it. My one question- in the morning, what’s the recommendation for after the peel? Usual morning routine? Specifically wash/ not wash face? This is the one step I couldn’t find guidance on.

The Libby app is a good way to check!
I use the peel only in the PM! Followed by night cream! You want it to really stay on your face, so no washing it off ◡̈
