I feel very strongly about few pieces of clothing, enough to designate a post for them (and have them in more than one color). Well, I’m here today to make a strong case for how much I love this sweater (and, yes, you have seen it before. Many, many times.). It’s mostly cotton and so there is none of that pilling or just the fabric looking meh over time. I’ve worn it so often, and washed it, and it still looks as good as the day I got it. Plus, because it’s mostly cotton, it’s something I’ll throw on all year long. Over a tank with jean shorts in the summer time, and it works just as well in the winter with a hat and scarf. I love the way it’s sort of cropped too, and I love the cream color with a white tank. I also wear it with nothing underneath–buttoned up and tucked into high waisted pants. And finally, I love the thick knit of it and the oversized buttons. It really is my favorite. And if you’re not already familiar with Everlane’s transparency, and ethical factory standards, it’s the icing on the cake. I love a company that considers so much more than their profit margins. So much so that I just got a second one in a different color. So now I’ll just rotate them all week long. I love working with Everlane. Their clothes are the ones I am reaching for more than virtually any other these days. These jeans are also by them, and were my go-to pair all summer long. This shirt is J.Crew and the shoes are Nisolo (another ethical favorite–and I’ve had them for a few years now… they hold up great!).
Thank you Everlane for gifting me these items!

Is this an ad? It’s really not clear.
bridget says
Not really. They sent me the clothes, but with Everlane, there’s not really a contract of any sort or further compensation. They just hope you love and share. Does that help?
Anna says
Yes thanks for clarifying. It would be nice to see “gifted” or soemthing in this kind of post. You mentioned working with everlane, but that’s vague.
bridget says
I’ll clarify! Thanks, Anna.

I haven’t bought anything from Everlane before but love this sweater. If you don’t mind me asking, what size are you wearing? I am built similar to you and don’t know how their sizing runs.
bridget says
I’m wearing a small!

Thank you!
