One listening, one reading. (Magic Treehouse Playaway for Anders, I Survived for Parker)If I remember correctly, it’s Thieves and R.C. diffusing. And I think a citrus because always citrus. The art cart (one of you gave yours that name, and we’ve adopted it… thank you!). It’s roughly this–tier 1: writing supplies, string for bracelet-making, stapler, paint brushes, scissors. Tier 2–clay for bead-making, acrylic paints, water color paints, beading supplies, chunkies paint markers. Tier 3–paper goods from white paper to rolled paper to construction paper and coloring books. Anything else we should have?Best mail day ever when a surprise package from our friends at Walker Family Goods arrives. Love love love it, Lex and Loren. The boys are so psyched (and so am I). Your colors are the best ever. Thank you!!!!Anders’ doodles on a white board. He said it’s arrows. I said it looks kind of like fish skeletons.Parker’s colors, and drinking water out of jam jars. My latest book. So far, it’s shocking. The fact that it’s even written at all leads me to believe there will be redemption. And finally, me! Hi!

The Westboro Baptist family! The Phelps’ granddaughter wrote it after leaving the church.

The way this broke lines in my email made it look like you wrote “My latest book. So far, it’s shocking. The fact that it’s even written at all leads me to drinking water out of jam jars.” I was like… is this an expression I haven’t heard before? What does it mean? And then I realized… formatting.

Formatting is everything. Like the comma. Let’s eat Grandma! Let’s eat, Grandma!
Too funny.

Hi! Where did you find your art cart? I have been eyeing some, and yours seems particularly sturdy. Thanks!

You could add stencils and stamps to your art cart. The stencils would be great for helping with fine motor! You could do letters for making words or just fun art stencils. The stamps are just fun. When they start writing more, you could add a high frequency word list to your art cart. But, I guess that’s the first grade teacher in me. High frequency word list aren’t really “art”. LOL!

I have an alphabet stamp set too. Good call.
