I absolutely love this bedroom. I saw it when scrolling Pinterest. The bedding colors is what first got me. Do you guys have a favorite bedding brand? I want to do something similar in our guest room, but I sort of want a darker, moody wall color. I don’t have it in me to try a bunch of swatches though. I just want to know which one to go with, and to go with it! (I don’t have the patience for home design projects…) And as much as I love white, it doesn’t always translate to super cozy. Hope you guys have a good weekend!
Some weekend reading…
The last McDonalds in Iceland. Is this for real?!
Phoebe Waller-Bridge does 73 questions with Vogue.
It has armholes so it can be a cape OR a scarf. Brilliant, and I always love buffalo check.
Having been googling Airbnbs in NYC for the last few days, helloooo to this beautiful brownstone in BedStu (for a not-crazy price considering the size and location). Get $55 off on your first Airbnb by using this link.
Books being made into movies in 2020. (I started Little Fires Everywhere, but then had a lot going on and never finished before I had to return it to the library; good reminder to get it out again!).
My favorite lip color right now.
Have you ever seen a charcuterie board this amazing??
I was so excited to partner with Bittersweet Monthly on their 2019 gift guide. I learned about some ethical brands I hadn’t heard of, and included some of my absolute favorites in the mix. If you want to shop companies that are doing right by people and planet this year, check this out. It’s a good one.
Are you guys into Disney Plus? I don’t want another streaming service (or, really, another streaming service subscription fee), but some of the old school movies that it includes are preeeetty awesome. We watched Eight Below the other night (but not before first telling Parker about any and every sad thing prior to it happening. An animal movie with any emotional part really gets that sweet boy.). We have a free year, I think, because William got the new iPhone or something? Anyway, it’s a pretty amazing collection… movies in the vault are there too!
Have you seen these for your car???
This sweet moment on Jeopardy.
L.L. Bean is having a 25% off sale, if you need some cold weather items! Not a clothing item, but I love this.
Speaking of, I want to do some outdoor evergreens in my pots throughout the winter. I love these.
This shop is full of cool educational toys for kids (bonus–they’re pretty, too.).
That’s all for now! Have a wonderful weekend!

I’m with you when it comes to painting–no color swatches and trial sample jars of paint over here. (This might be why our living room was way more of a purple-gray than GRAY-gray but OH WELLLL haha.)

I think the McDonalds story is for real. I know someone who did the same thing for fun and personally saw her well preserved 5 year old burger and fries (with the dated receipt). They still looked like they were bought yesterday–stale, but no sign of decay, mold, etc. Gross!

I just copied Brooke from Nesting with Grace and painted our bedroom Gray, by Benjamin Moore. I LOVE it. You can see her room here: https://nestingwithgrace.com/master-bedroom-tour/
So cozy feeling!

My husband just signed us up for Disney Plus. It’s actually not that bad. I think he said it was $5/month. It has so much though and lots of things that you soon won’t be able to find anyplace else, except Hulu I guess cause Disney owns that too. Also they have all the Star Wars Movies and are doing a new show called The Mandalorians. We watched the first 2 episodes with our boys and we all enjoyed it. Kind of a no brainer if you have kids.
