I hate blow-drying my hair. You’ll notice that I never, ever do it. It’s just a process, and honestly, I think I prefer my hair a little wild anyway. Feels more me. Even so, once in awhile, it’s nice to change it up. Plus, I go longer between washes when my hair is blown dry, which is nice. So, I was delighted to use a tool recently that made the process so easy…I’d seen mention of this product by a couple different influencers, but it was when I saw it for perhaps the 57th time as I was tapping through Lynzy’s stories (and it was Prime Day) that I decided to go for it. I do not like gadgets. You all already know it took me four years of hearing positive reviews to finally spring for the Instant Pot. I just hate getting something and then potentially not using it. Waste of money, waste of space, bad for the environment. But, I can safely say, that this tool really does makes blow-drying your hair so, so, so easy (and so fast, too). Because the brush is built in, it is effortless to dry and brush nicely at the same time. I feel like closing with Ina’s how easy is that? is appropriate here.To keep my hair healthy, I used some of this oil before brushing (while it was wet), and then after it was dry, I used this for some added volume at the roots. Neither are “clean” but to be honest, I’m having a hard time wanting to test drive hair products at the risk of them not working and being a waste of money. Plus, I use them so infrequently anyway. Any truly fantastic clean products for volume? I’m all ears.
Hurrah for time-saving products!

Thanks for sharing your hair routine! I hate blow drying my hair too – in fact, I never do it, haha, I just let my hair air dry and I find that it suits me better anyway! 🙂

What shampoo and conditioner do you now use? Your hair looks beautiful!

I used to use Beautycounter’s Volume and Shape (and still have some left, so I do use it from time to time). And then I recently got into Acure (well-priced, and clean!). Their clarifying shampoo mostly.

I recently looked at Acure at Target – do you feel like the clarifying works? I agree that it’s not fun to spend tons on “testing” hair products. I end up with 8 different items on the little shelf in the shower too 🙁

I do think it works. I use it at least once a week and have been happy!

Great thank you!

I’ve used Acure Clarifying shampoo for a few years now and though I liked the original formula better (more concentrated), I second Bridget’s opinion. A little bit goes a long way and the lemongrass scent is really nice!

Intriguing. I also am a gadget-hated.
Clean product for hair volume – I’m not sure about the volume aspect but I know there’s some super simple dry shampoo recipes out there that use kitchen products (cocoa powder for brunettes, something else the tI can’t remember for blondes). I find dry shampoo sort of products do give my hair some added boost, especially if I shake them through with my head upside down. Worth a one time shot and costs you nothing, I guess if it doesn’t work.

Gah. That would be a gadget hatER.

Huh, I have a Conair hot air brush. I like how it styles my hair but I can’t use it to actually blow my hair dry cause it would literally take hours. I have fairly thick hair and it normally takes a good 30 mins to blow my hair out with a regular dryer. Does this one actually dry your hair in a fair amount of time?

I would say this thing is definitely faster!
