It’s Friday! And the weekend is supposed to be beautiful. And hot! I’m going to get some more beach time in. And swap out my planters for some fall arrangements. What are you doing?
Some weekend reading…
This apple cake looks to be aptly named: heavenly.
This incredible color, and the cropped cut makes this the perfect sweater this winter.
I made this, and it was actually really easy. When you put it on your counter, close enough to a slab of salty butter and an at-the-ready knife, it turns out, it will be gone quickly. (Instead of doing the vintage Pyrex search, I just bought this to made it in. Less pretty, less vintage, just as useful.)
Totally doing this sweet and simple craft with Anders and Parker.
I mean, this list feels a little overkill, but I did do number two the other day and it made me pretty happy.
I’m still undecided, but this sort of feels like me. (But so does this.)
Just cause the warm weather’s leaving, doesn’t mean Aperol Spritzes have to. Seasonal variations on the classic cocktail!
I love this chunky knit so much.
It’s funny to me that there is a “recipe” for this.
Switzerland fighting 5g. (It seems a little premature to just be rolling out 5g everywhere. Good on you, Switzerland.)
Okay, now this is a teddy coat. (But, chaaaa-ching.)

I might need to get this Sunshine sweater in copper. For real.
But, the real reason I’m commenting here is 5G. Here is a great link to share in regard to this topic:

Peasant bread is my FAVORITE to make. My family gobbles it up so quickly. It’s been too freaking hot here to bake bread. Our house is 150 years old, and the oven heats it up even more than it already is heated. ha!

WEEKEND! Finally, this week was sooo long. The weather will be beautiful here tomorrow and I can’t wait to go outside and feel the sun. Have a nice weekend!
And totally putting that bread receipt on my to-make list, looks delicious!

Haha! The one “recipe” cracked me up. I’ve always wondered about how to prepare the complex snack of peanut butter and apple slices. I have my apple – I have my peanut butter. How do I get that goodness in me??
The bread looks delicious! Perfect for fall.

I made that bread recipe last night with dinner and it was phenomenal, such an easy recipe compared to others I’ve tried and everyone loved it. Thank you for sharing.

I chuckled a little when I saw the enneagram illustrations because those are the two types I flip flop between as well. Maybe that’s why I like reading your blog / insta posts so much.
Quick tip on the craft. We’ve done something similar in our house but used wine corks instead of the Q-tips. It’s a nice way to re-use something I’d otherwise throw away. And I found that corks are good for little toddler hands that might not quite be up for using paint brushes yet.
