I’ve been a longtime fan of Parabo Press. Their sweet and simple ways of displaying photos from their wooden display stand to their wooden rails speaks my language. What is that language? Easy, noncommittal, and without too many holes in your walls. The way Parabo synchs up to your Instagram account to grab photos there to have printed is perfect for the “takes a lot of pictures and stores them on the computer and hard drives where we never look at them again” kind of girl that I am. I’m betting you can relate.Plus the paper that their photos are printed on is so nice and luxe. Thick, card stock type paper with a matte finish, just the way I like it. My favorite lately is the wooden display stand that you see below nestled in our bookshelf. Easy way to swap out a picture with the others I’ve printed too. The process goes like this: grab the square print, swap out for a new one, done. Perfect. Also, that gold frame above? It’s got a sort of magnetic closing system. In essence, easy. Are you sensing a theme here? They also have beautiful photo books like the one you see above. Given that Anders never got his own baby book or first year video (one day, one day!) like his big brother, I made one for him. He loves looking at it. It was beyond easy to put together, and has a nice hardcover. A perfect coffee table book. I think we were admiring his chunky thighs here. I miss those chunky thighs!Their display stand, golden frame, and desk calendars are sweet gifts for Dads too. Father’s Day is coming up! Does your husband have any evidence in his office space that he is married or has children? Any at all? In Steve’s defense, he does, but in part with my help. And now he has a sweet free standing desk calendar (below) perched right there next to his laptop. We each got one. And I love it. That little blue bowl next to it was Anders’ Mother’s Day present to me. I love those little made-in-school-by-their-little-hands presents so, so much. This is my home office space. It’s teeny tiny. As in, inside a closet, and not a walk in closet. Small house living at its finest. In addition to what you see here, they also have these awesome oversized engineer prints in this fantastic, moody black and white, as well as the magnetic wooden rails which are the perfect display option–seen below holding up their fine art print, just above my withering snake plant (she’s been with me for like 6+ years, but I think I’ve finally gone and done it with perhaps some overwatering?). They’ve taken the guesswork out of beautiful, high quality prints and display options and narrowed it down for you into one beautiful site. So, it’s time to finally print and display those memories! Or, at least, start small. A calendar for your husband’s desk at work. Happy Father’s Day to him!

Thank you for this! I had been doing an annual photobook for years, but last year I let it slide because I wasn’t loving the company we were using. I’m so grateful for this recommendation! I think it’s the nudge I need to actually get our 2018 book done 🙂

Thank you, thank you! This is just the info I need to plan a photo book for my aunt’s birthday next month, who was born in Boston 99 years ago! All the products look fantastic–as does your beautiful family. Thanks again, your blog is great!
