This bedroom has been sitting on my desktop for months. It’s one of my favorite simple, beautiful, and yet not over-the-top bedrooms I’ve seen on the web. We switched rooms around last weekend, and now the family bed is in our larger back bedroom (the idea behind giving the boys the big room was hoping they’d actually play in it but, it turns out, they only play where we are for the most part. So the bedroom wasn’t used for sleep OR play so it made sense to take it back for at least sleep!). Maybe now I’ll actually decorate it?! Some weekend reading…
This made me laugh out loud. whens she yells BLUE CHEESE at him.
I’m really loving this drapey trench (half off, I’m liking that a lot too).
I’ve heard good things about this book. Anyone read it?
An illustrated guide to all 2,339 deaths of Game of Thrones. This is so well done. Also… SUNDAY!
The Pink Tax. Steve just yelled down this morning, “Have you heard of the Pink Tax?! I just heard about it on NPR!” I had heard of it though probably wasn’t as outraged as I should be. (There are so many things to be outraged about these days, we’ve got to pick our battles.) Nevertheless, another reason to use a DivaCup! Also, I just bought a Flamingo razor at Target and it was SO much less than the other ones I was buying.
Prince Harry is calling for a Fortnite ban.
Beautycounter’s commitment to rigorous testing and screening is remarkable. Look who they’re partnering with now. If you’re looking to clean up some of your products, start with the things that don’t wash off, like lotions and foundations. This is one of my absolute favorites that I use every single day. It’s 15% off right now too.
This Grecian number is stunning.
Let’s travel this week to Nashville. Check out the roof deck on this one!
Old bananas? Make these sugar-free banana muffins. They’re favorites at our house.
While I was in Phoenix, the three hour time difference was at times tricky when it was time to go to bed, or time to wake up, so I listened to this podcast when I needed to sleep and it majorly did the trick. I don’t recall listening beyond just a few minutes because I was out like a light.
Just made this the other day. Comfort food at its finest.
This post was right up my alley. Family vacations! We’re coming up on that time again, praise be. Lake Winnipesaukee would have to be our favorite!
Have a good weekend!

There are so many deaths in Game of Thrones? Haha! I don’t think I’d be able to take watching it… I hate deaths even in movies or shows!

Lovely bedroom!!! Also, I bought that book, Make Your Bed, for my boys one Christmas (maybe a year ago) and I think it is AWESOME, but they have yet to read it. I often remind them that their brains are not yet fully developed, so they should just trust me more of the time. Kids.

cannot wait for game of thrones although I know I’ll be anxious as I wait to see who is inevitably killed off. And the pink tax is infuriating!!
