01. divorce. that is, the tv show. i accidentally stumbled upon it on the plane to athens, and then got hooked. i have loved SJP since her sex and the city days (wait! actually, since her girls just wanna have fun days; tell me you’ve seen that 80s classic), so to see her in something else is so fun. plus, thomas haden church! molly shannon!! such a fun cast. and easy to get caught up–only two seasons so far, and each episode is only 30 minutes! perfect for laundry-folding. side note: i love all of sjp’s coats in it. no surprise there.
02. joanna gaines’ ricotta pancakes. i’ve been making these a lot lately but with yogurt because i never have ricotta on hand. i don’t think it matters (in fact, i think sour cream would work well too). they’re so good, with the perfect crispy edges and fluffy insides that you’re looking for in a pancake. highly recommend. really, her whole cookbook is totally lovely. i think if you google the recipe, you’ll find it.
03. chocolate hummus. sooooo my friend jenny told me, more than once in our friend text thread, “chocolate hummus. guys, try it. it’s really good.” yeah whatever. but i passed the hummus end cap just as her words were running through my head and my eyes landed on the chocolate hummus. for like $3, i figured i could take a risk. she was right. i also bought strawberries and dipped them and the boys and i had quite the treat. think of it as healthier and less sweet nutella. do not think of it as salty or chickpeas-ish. because that plus chocolate is off putting. but as a fruit dip and you’ll jump on board, i promise.
04. this palette. it is crazy pretty guys. perfect pigment, and colors. i plan to do a little more on it in the future. super versatile too–smokier evening colors, and then really nice everyday neutrals in it too. i’m loving basically every color in it. some could definitely double as highlighters too. and i love that it’s clean and i can feel good about using it.
05. ashley’s lake tahoe travelogue. i was just talking to steve about lake tahoe the other day, saying we just had to get there. as someone who loves lakes, this lake looks altogether different than winnipesaukee and i want to visit so badly–really, i want to visit the whole west. i’ve seen so little of it! ashley always does such great travelogues. i love her pictures and her real-life commentary on the place. (her blog is so good.)

I’ve never tried (nor heard of) chocolate hummus before! It sounds… intriguing? But I do like chocolate and I like hummus too, so I might give it a try as well! 😛

Oh man, Lake Tahoe is the most beautiful place. If you go, try to get there in the winter – the snow piles up but the sun still shines, and the lake just looks stunning. Plus – perfect for skiing!
I had no idea chocolate hummus was a thing, as an aside. Colour me intrigued
