This weekend is going to be beautiful! I’m hoping for some leisure time, but right now it’s looking pretty crowded with sports. I’ll fit a bike ride in there somewhere. What are your plans?
Some weekend reading…
After making smoothie bowls a regular thing now, I decided to add these bowls to our kitchen rotation. I’ve been thinking about them far too long, it was time.
My sister is loooving this book. After hearing about it from so many different people, I think it’s time I read it. (Have you?)
This week, let’s go to Iceland. Technically, this is one more (short) flight from Reykjavik. But hooooly hell is it amazing. And as one reviewer states, they watched the northern lights FROM THE DECK. (Northern Lights are a major bucket list item for me.).
The perfect summer throw-odds-and-ends-in bag. Love it.
I love the waterfall counter for this laundry room–and even more that it was DIY and pretty inexpensive.
One of our good friends (also an amazing cook) made this for a party last week. It was sooooooo good. (I do have a membership to NYT Cooking and seriously enjoy reading the emails and looking at the recipes, even if I don’t make them as often as I’d like!)
I bet this show is going to be good. Amy Adams… check! HBO… check! Looking forward to it. (Speaking of grisly thriller type shows, True Detective Season 1 is still one of the best but scariest shows I’ve ever watched! That last episode, man.).
This shop is full of really cool porcelain jewelry.
Coco is on Netflix! Add it to your weekend agenda.
My friend Megan (who I routinely Marco Polo with) just made this pasta dish and has gone on about how good it was (the picture alone has my mouth watering). I think I’ll make it this weekend. It starts with a stick of butter. I’m game.
Didn’t think I’d find anything to top my old Bad Gal Lash or “Better Than Sex” (actually its name) standbys, but I think this is my favorite mascara now (definitely prefer it to their lengthening one!).
Could this vertical garden complete with an outdoor shower be cooler?
I know I’m usually all Zella all the time, but I’m really liking these (and that price, too).
I’m not sure I’ve ever actually had Lilllet, but I always admire the bottle whenever I see it in a shop. I think the third cocktail here would be a really fun one to make with it.
See you next week!

Present over Perfect left me kind of…meh…I passed it on a friend, she really liked it so maybe I am just not crazy busy enough. She is a good writer though…but it did not resonate with me. Just finished Tayari Jones’s, An American Marriage – that was SO good. Not the same kind of book but if you don’t have a lot of time to read…totally worth it.
