I heard about Brandless recently, than heard about them again, then again, then again, then asked in a Friday post if you guys had heard of them, and had a couple of you tell me, “yes! And they’re awesome!” and so, when they contacted me, as you can imagine, I was totally down. I went on the site, chose a bunch of things from their food items, and a plan to picnic at our favorite spot ever was hatched–first of the season! Here are the products we tried: their organic white cheddar popcorn, organic blue corn chips, sea salt pita chips, cranberry oat crisps (these were so good with Manchego!), mini shortbread cookies, chocolate chip cookie thins (also loved these; super crispy and thin), organic chunky salsa to go with the chips!, pistachios, organic pasta for a pasta salad I made, and some plates and cutlery to go with. I made a veggie pasta salad, brought Manchego, and some blackberries to round it all out. Anders added the petals and dandelions for decoration. What’s really cool about Brandless are these three things:
Their prices are fair: everything on the site costs $3. From hand soaps to shampoos to mugs and kitchen linens, it’s all $3. They’ve eliminated what they call Brand Tax–basically hidden costs that don’t really improve quality. Hence their name… Brandless!
Their options are better: so many non-GMO, organic, non paraben, sulfate-free, compostable options and still for $3. Better for you and for the environment. Our plates and cutlery for the picnic were all biodegradable and compostable. Napkins are tree-free. You get the idea.
Their give program rules: they’ve partnered with Feeding America so that every time you shop, they donate a meal. I like that. The boys were really having a moment with the astronaut costumes. They laid them out last night on their bedroom floors last night, and put them on first thing. If you recall, the one Anders is wearing is the one we bought at the H&M in Rome for Parker when he was just about Anders’ age! It has seen so much use. Keep scrolling and you’ll see Parker could no longer resist. I love when they wear dress-ups wherever. Berry snatcher. Ok, seriously, those cranberry oat crisps need to be on your next cheese plate!Steve sneaking some cheese but otherwise staying out of the shots. Photographer, always waiting in the wings. (The amount of shots I have of him in the frame when I’m testing the manual settings is comical. Instagram/blog husband, I love you!) Beyond the whole organic/GMO thing, I will say that it all tasted really good. You are not sacrificing taste whatsoever!
Astronaut pile-on! Anders attempting to break into the cookies. Ok these are delicious. You know those super thin Tate’s cookies? These are like that. But bite size. So like, eat ten. Forever flexing for pictures. Meanwhile Anders is walking off before his mother notices he’s double fisting cookies. Precious moments with (some of) my people. Looking forward to so many more now that spring is here!
P.S. Brandless now has a referral program! Create an account before placing an order, and use this link to get $6 off your first order of $39 or more. Share your unique link with friends + family for $6 in your account (and theirs!).
This post is in partnership with Brandless. So excited to have the opportunity to work with this awesome company. All opinions are my own. Thank you so much for reading.

I am such a huge brandless fan. The linens are so good, too. The wooden spoons are beautiful.
Also, where is that orange fabric “bowl” from?! I love the idea of packing something like that for a picnic!
