Notes for the Road

It’s the weekend! Yahoo! Any special plans for Mother’s Day? I’m not sure what we’re doing–except playing a mothers vs. sons lacrosse game at Parker’s lacrosse practice this weekend, ha. And I think we’re going to do some sort of backyard gardening / beautifying. We want to finally build a firepit. Something like this. Hope you all have a good one.

This rustic island retreat in Maine has me dreaming off-the-grid dreams. Sometimes I genuinely want to do things like this. Leave it all behind, ditch my phone, and spend the rest of my days with my kids living simply (but then, I also really love Netflix. It’s all very confusing.)

This week… let’s go to Bozeman, MT and stay in this TREE HOUSE. Or this incredible cabin! I really had to include both. Dead tie. Now I really need to get to Bozeman. And the west in general.
