01. sun on my face! this past weekend the sun peeked out multiple times, and we brought the deck furniture out. whenever deck furniture comes out, you know spring is around the corner. steve set up the bouncy house for the boys and parker bounded up to me, bare feet and pajamas, and said, “I LOVE TODAY!” no joke. his happiness was so contagious.
02. all these new brass pieces. those ladies are killing it. look at this sweater. perfect for winter into spring. and here’s the dress i’m wearing above!
03. gordon buchanan documentaries on netflix. so far we’ve watched ‘elephant family & me’ and we’re halfway through ‘bear family & me’. he’s got a bunch and they’re really good. i love his personality too. watch with your kids!
04. speaking of animals, parker is an avid wild kratts fan and between that, library books, and who knows what else, the boy knows SO MUCH about animals. he routinely interrupts conversation with a random, “do you know what the fastest animal is?” (it’s a peregrine falcon.) he will wake up and first words out of his mouth, “do you know what the deadliest shark is?” he keeps us informed on the animal kingdom.
05. these clothes. like all of them. it’s been a long time since i visited a website and wanted virtually every single piece in my closet. this dress is at the top of the list.
06. my beautycounter team. i love getting to know the girls on my team, and learning more about them, these products, and this mission. and having fun in the process. does that sound cheesy? it might, but it’s actually true. (p.s. travel cleansing balm (my favorite product!!) is this month’s free gift if you sign up as a consultant, also my favorite product! email me if you want more info.)
07. homeland. while i miss the nicholas brody seasons, this latest season is still really good. every night steve and i sit down and it’s like… “work oooor… wanna watch an episode of homeland?!”
08. paper rebel cards. they saw my mention in the target post, and asked if they could send me some cards (um, yes, yes you may!). they came the other day and i love them!! they’re the best cards. so unique and quirky and funny. they make me want to send even more mail.
09. crossing things off my list. i’ve been keeping an old school composition book–you know, the black and white marble ones–as my to do list / ideas book for a few months now. it goes everywhere with me and i write ideas for blog posts, or something to remember that the boys said, or my to do’s. anyway, the act of actually crossing something OFF of it is just the best. right?!?
10. this jose gonzalez + brite lites album. what music are you loving right now?

Way to go Parker !! We actually have a Peregrine Falcon nest (aka as scrape) right across from our deck, and it’s been so cool watching them with binoculars as they take turn incubating the eggs.My 6-yr-old and I have read a lot about them and the bobcat that keeps us up at night (creepy at first !)
Also, I’ve been following Morgane since the beginning of Sezanne, she’s such a genuine young woman. Pieces are often hard to snatch though as they sell out really fast.
