Last week after swim lessons–burgers! Steve met us there after work and, having been separate for a whole work day, Parker couldn’t get enough of him. They are pretty much cuddling 90% of the time when Steve is not moving in the house. What are your plans this weekend? I’m going to discover Newport, Rhode Island (for the first time)!
Some weekend reading…
This was really troubling to watch. I have hope that all is not lost yet, though. Do you?
In case you caught my long faux-tree saga on IG stories last Sunday, here’s a helpful article about the! best! faux! fiddle! leaf! fig! there is. Side note: I ended up going with one of these beauties for that corner!
Looking forward to spring and making this salad more often. Perfect addition to burgers!
Guys. I have spent a good portion of the last week admiring ceramic, porcelain, anything tumblers. I think they’re the future. Not self-driving cars, but TUMBLERS. Quite literally obsessed.
I’ve enjoyed watching this TV show (lighter than a lot of the ones I watch). Each episode sort of stands alone too.
15 podcasts to for mindfulness, and self-growth. (Not on the list, but I’m going to try 10% Happier next.)
Greatest Showman medley.ย Steve had it on repeat earlier this week.
Really loveย this linen duvet cover.
Who knew rain boots would be such a hot topic?ย (Anyone snag a pair before they pulled them?)
These slip-ons are super cute.
Do you turn your wifi router off at night? (I think I’m going to start. This could be tricky if the kids are up late doing homework, but I think using a timer and turning it off at like midnight and back on at 6 should do it? Hopefully?!)
Flying through this beautiful, raw, vulnerable memoir.
Love the look of all these cacti. Speaking of, I guess I’m desert dreaming because I have this hotel on the brain (look at those views!).
Really, really love this suit.
I love banh mi so I am very intrigued by this recipe.
See you next week!

I, too, look forward to this post every week. Your blog is one of the few I still read because you offer content that is beyond fashion and beauty. Don’t get me wrong….I like learning about new products and discovering a well-made top, but I love that you also share music, books, travel, and so forth! Thank you!
bridget says
oh thanks so much for saying so, brooke! sometimes it’s hard to tell if what i’m doing is still working or relevant so i really appreciate that!!

Just added the book to my Amazon Wish list – thank you! I have gotten away from reading most of my favorite blogs, but let me tell you, I visit yours EVERY FRIDAY for the links!! It’s my favorite type of post that you do. Don’t ever stop ๐

Always enjoy your blog, and hope you enjoyed Newport! For what it’s worth, I encourage more research before starting to worry about your wi-fi router. There is no credible evidence to support that article’s claims or similar on other alarmist websites (note that article did not cite any sources) – even the conservative EU has studied this and not found any adverse health effects. All my best!

Hi, Your TV show recommendation link is just taking me to Netflix. Could you share the name of the show? I’m in desperate need of a light-hearted TV show.
bridget says

We went to the enchantment resort in October. It was magnificent. So peaceful and low key luxury. Beautiful hiking from the property and then in and around Sedona. Iโd go back in a second. Loved that place.
