01. Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It’s available on Netflix! right! now! Go watch it. I was scrolling the other night and of course looked no further once I saw that it was there. Love that movie. I did a rendition of “Inside You” with Steve after we started it the other night (lol). I’m trying to have a strict 10:30 bedtime lately, so I didn’t watch the whole thing, but I will return to it for sure. It’s been a favorite for a long time.
02. Food Network with the boys. We have the Food Network app but sometimes I forget about it. The other day I remembered Barefoot Contessa (not like I ever forgot her; I make her food all the time. But I had sort of forgotten about her show.) and I’m telling you watching her is like hypnotic for me and the boys. I used to watch it with Lindsey back in the day. It feels like so much more worthwhile TV than most cartoons, and they love it! I’m dreaming that it will make them a little more daring to try new things when they see her preparing them. (They’ve also watched the Kids Baking Competition and are loving that as well.)
03. This Essie nail polish. Just picked it up at Target and it’s like the perfect spring color, never mind the weather is not at all spring like. (Waiting for snow to begin any second now. No, like actually. We’re supposed to get hit tonight.)
04. Armchair Expert. It’s my latest podcast listen and I really like it. I’ve listened to one and a half so far (Kristen Bell and 1/2 of Jimmy Kimmel’s) but it’s the one I’m reaching for most. It’s just a casual conversation about the struggles and triumphs of being a human really, with a good dose of storytelling in between. I’ve been a fan of Dax since his Parenthood days, and then his marriage with Kristen Bell (love her too), so it was an easy sell for me.
05. This video of a baby elephant cuddling with a human. I almost never watch FB videos, but I’ve watched this one like four times. I love it. I wish I could cuddle with a baby elephant.

I love watching Food Network! In fact, I love watching food TV shows, full stop. It’s torturous because I get so hungry but… well, what’s better than food? 😉

I am loving Armchair Expert! So far my faves are Kristen Bell and Jimmy Kimmel. I get so excited when a new one comes on! And good call about rewatching Barefoot Contessa! May just have to start that this afternoon 🙂

I am loving Armchair Expert as well. I love that he talks about his sobriety and the steps for AA and how you can apply them to your own life without having to be recovering from anything. I really enjoyed the episode with Joy Bryant- lots of interesting talk about race and self perception, etc.

For a few months now I’ve been implementing a 10:30 bedtime routine, and I have to say I feel way more refreshed and energized (even my skin looks better !!), have you noticed any difference yet ?
Also, just read about Armchair Expert and was going to give it a try because Shepard is so approachable.
Totally re-watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Food Network shows this W.E !!

I haven’t been as strict about my 1030 bedtime as I should! Last night was closer to 1130 :-\ Next week is a new week! I totally believe the skin thing though!

Okay first that elephant is SO STINKING CUTE!! and I LOVE Forgetting Sarah Marshall but haven’t watched it in ages, thanks for the reminder…the hubs and I might have to watch it this weekend after pumpkin goes to bed! Love the nail polish color, if only I painted my nails more often….I find I do too many dishes and too many pushes on the swing outside for it ever to last more than a day does this Essie last? Any tips to make the polish last?

I hear you. Seche Vite (smells like it is definitely BAD for you) does seem to make the polish last longer. It’s a top coat.
