This was a recent dinner–pork ragu over pappardelle from this cookbook–and it was a total win. I’m trying to share meals as I make them over on this account (either in the feed or in the stories) in case you’re in a dinner funk. Anyway, this weekend is a busy one, but the kids still have runny noses so I’m packing them full of good stuff to beat this. Colds, be gone! Have you guys gotten your trees yet?
Some weekend reading…
Moms I’d love to punch: Holiday Card edition. So funny. The “I’m Going Green” one made me chuckle.
This set looks amazing. The glow oil (not glittery in the least) is one of my favorite things to use on my cheekbones for a highlighter.
This is so troubling. We HAVE to do better by our environment. This feels like the smallest, most insignificant change to my routine, but I’ve just started bringing these to the grocery store and using them instead of plastic for my produce. I could still do a lot.
Good time to make these delicious cookies.
I know so many of you love Family Stone (I’m strangely not one of them! I’m sorry!). It’s $3.99 right now!
Love this simple sweater. The sleeves!
Sweet idea for Advent. Also, a forever favorite Christmas book.
Lindsey would love these for Christmas.
You’ve heard of butter coffee, now butter hot cocoa! I want to try this.
Have a good weekend!

Butter hot cocoa? Sounds like a sinful indulgence… but I think I’ll try it out. 😉

I loathe the family stone. I don’t understand how anyone enjoys it; especially around the holidays.

Do you love your bombas? I’ve wanted to try them!

Thank you for the links, especially sharing that “global waste article” – it’s so sad but so important and it’s a good reminder to actually do more and change some things (not just stating how sad it is, Licia ;))
Butter hot cocoa sounds good, never heard of it though – I’m curious to see whether you consider it worth a try 😉
No tree here yet and instead of reading and writing here I should be making an advent wreath (and writing cards – so that article was spot on ;)) But I hope your weekend is a good one despite it being busy and fighting colds. Take care ♥

I love the Family Stone! Mostly because Diane Keaton is in it and I think SJP does a great job of playing the uptight/annoying girlfriend.

Those gingersnaps really are the best! I make them every year and actually just made a batch last week (which I have managed to eat about half of myself).

Bridget! Thanks so much for including my holiday card post! Admittedly, I’ve been EVERY SINGLE ONE! What are ya gonna do?! ??♀️ Cheers!!

I’m working to create a plastic bag ban in my MA hometown. It’s so discouraging to witness how we spoil the environment, the seemingly infinite use of plastic water bottles, straws, plastic cups, and bags. Like to get takeout coffee? Bring your own cup! Most places will even give you a discount. Do your kids like using straws? Buy some reusable ones. Reconsider purchasing water bottles; it’s likely the water is the same or not as good as tap.

we have one in our town! and while I think a lot of people started using reusable bags as a result, I think a lot of ppl just rely on the paper bags and I imagine the carbon footprint of them being made/shipped is still high. also we can’t recycle soft plastic with our trash in town which bothers me to no end. guh. so many things I wish were different. and unless things are really easy, (most) people just don’t do them. grateful for your work towards a more sustainable future!!

I literally love your weekend posts!

that is so nice of you to say, Amy! I never know how they’ll go over!
