Just catching up on the latest while eating his eggs on the counter. Mornings with this guy are pretty sweet. What are you up to this weekend? Lindsey and I are going on a little mom-daughter date to get pedicures and see Beauty and the Beast (you’ve all said it was sooo good!). I’m excited. Also… she turns 15 next week! When. How.
Weekend reading…
A new Sesame Street character with autism. This is really cool.
A modern take on Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. “It’s been a V bad day!” I shouted. My mom texted, “some days r like that. ;-)” Even in Australia, where I can fly for twenty-one hundred and thirty-five dollars round-trip. Less if my travel dates are flexible.”
It’s not about how much sleep you get but how many sleep cycles you get. Figure it out here. (Anders laughs at that calculator and tells me he’ll wake me when he wakes me. Mid-cycle or not.)
A new favorite IG account.
Woah, really have to check out that Sesame Street character! *hums theme song*

I looooove April fools day jokes and am now wondering how many of those my husband might fall for…..like the mashed potato sundae?
Oh I love the new Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day on the New Yorker. My son quotes the book all the time. Not sure if that’s a good thing…
That sleep cycles article is amazing! It makes me and my insomnia feel much better.
That instagram is making me hungry!

Julia Turshen is just the best. Her lentils in coconut milk from Small Victories is one of my favourite dinners ever and I love the afternoon cake. I’ve never made the meatballs though! They’re going on the list of things to try!
