Not one of my own pictures (I wish) but this image of the Faroe Islands is giving me peace. So serene. One amazing world which we’ve been given. Anyway, this weekend is a quiet one, and I’m looking forward to watching Lion again (but this time with the whole family; they must see it!) and then having an Oscars party on Sunday with some friends (our 4th annual, I think!). What are you up to?

I saw this suit the other day, which so reminds me of this one that I own and got a lot of questions about back when we were on our trip. Both scalloped, v-neck, one pieces. And red (which is becoming my favorite color when I stray from my normal white, black, gray.

The real mom’s guide to cleaning link…we just left my brother and sister-in-laws childless how with our children. High level stress to put everything back where it belongs. I’m going home to scrub my fridge and throw EVERYTHING away! ?

I know it’s very bandwagon-ish, and very multi-level marketing-ish, but have you tried Lipsense? I don’t sell it, but it definitely passes the kissing/drinking/eating test. You can even wear one color on one lip, one on the other, and when you smush your lips together they don’t transfer. You’d have to find someone to buy it through, but wow does it last!
I haven’t but I’ve seen it on IG and IMPRESSIVE.
Oh my! That real mom’s housecleaning! I laughed because I’m just so relieved that I’m not the only one who “cleans” like that. It is a never-ending battle! At least you have some kids at home who are old enough to help with the cleaning!
Consider dusting, but just laugh – might be my answer to the weekend plans question, although I feel I really should be cleaning the house because we get visitors who stay some nights so they might notice what’s under that blanket I put over all the chaos and hope it looks like it’s the latest trend in interior design.
Apart from that, watching Lion is on my list too and visiting a friend who gave birth recently and cuddle a newborn – that should save me 😉

I read this book right after I saw “Lion” and it was wonderful. I highly recommend because there are many more details explained in it. I saw the movie once and have not stopped thinking about it since. I honestly think it will stay with me forever. Love your blog, by the way! : )

The book is a must read – many more details than the movie. I saw the movie weeks ago and have not been able to stop thinking about it – incredible and moving I hope it wins at the Oscars!!
