I’m not done my Christmas shopping yet, not that that’s unusual. (Are you done yours? Tell me you’re not.) In fact, the only year I was really done by this time was the year Anders was due (my due date was December 6. He arrived on December 7 at 12:20 am!). That year I knew there’d be a whole lot of newborn snuggling and not much else come mid December. It was the best. I don’t know why I don’t start earlier every year but, nope. Perhaps it’s the thrill (stress?) of getting it done just in the nick of time?? No rhyme or reason. But anyway…
With Nordstrom and their quick shipping, there’s still time to Christmas shop. And the gifts are plentiful. And easy to find at the price point you want when they set up their gift guide the way they do. Kids, home, her, him, under $100, under $50, you get the point. So let’s talk gifts. How about this insanely soft throw? (Insanely soft. Like bunny rabbit ears soft.) Or this cozy sweatshirt. Or this EMOJI TUBE. How about these stone stud earrings for your Christmas party (and for $10? Seriously?)? Wait. I’m supposed to be talking about gift giving. This slouchy cashmere beanie that comes in a million colors. These Star Wars PJs for the little kid in your life (sidenote: Parker is completely fascinated with Star Wars right now, and he’s never even seen it. It’s Kylo-Ren and the rest of the gang all day long. How?). And finally, for the home, this paddle board that I actually love a lot and would like a cheese plate on right now.

The Star Wars obsession pre-watching the film is so funny! my son was exactly the same. In fact after waiting 2 years to see it I think he wasn’t even that interested in the movie after all, he just loves the space ships. And no, not done with gifts here yet either, and 4 kids to buy for… !

Not done yet! Still have to buy for my husband, brother, nephew, and dad. Notice a theme here? Guys are so much harder to shop for than girls!

I still have to finish Christmas and my 5 year old’s birthday gifts – she turns 6 on the 19th. Also a 12am-something baby. I was due on the 17th.
I agree with previous posters – I’m going to get my money’s worth out of Amazon Prime this year!
