We were running some errands last week, and stopped at one of our favorite farms knowing that there’d be some fresh cider donuts waiting for us inside (after we retrieved them and paid for them, of course). There’s a lot of places in our area where you can get cider donuts, but there are few that actually make them on site. And, if you know cider donuts (or, really any donuts), you know that the sooner you eat them, the better. None of this farm to truck to store nonsense. They know right where to go.He knows what’s in that bag and waiting is not his strong suit. He does this thing now where if you’re eating something he wants, he so sweetly brings his hands together by his face, open palms, and just looks at you. Just try to say no. Just try.
The other day we were leaving the house to drop Parker at school, and he says to me, “Mom, I kinda really love Anders.” The way he says his words, Anders’ name (it’s still Andehsh–a slight “sh” at the end), it was just so sweet. They’d had a sweet morning with a lot of love (not always the case, I promise!), and he had to tell me that before drop off. That stuff makes me the happiest.
Anders, Parker, and Steve chasing each other around the maze. When I first saw this picture I thought my feet looked so weird in it, but then I realized I was crossing them and my feet weren’t in fact on backwards. The number of rocks in my car, in their pockets… it’s a lot. I never know (do they?) what their plan is with all them.Another beautiful day in this fall. Aren’t those colors beautiful? There’s some red and yellow ones that are still hanging on in town. More on the ground every day, but that’s pretty too.
outfit details: trench and sweater from gap, jeans from nordstrom, shoes c/o bryr (place your order by november 28 for christmas!), bag is ona.

That picture of Parker holding Anders head is amazing – I feel like you have to frame that one. SO sweet.

You are just so gorgeous! And you model the trenchcoat far more beautifully than Gap. The photos of Parker and Anders are adorable as well! Such a handsome family—all 8 of you!! There is nothing more glorious than dwelling in Massachusetts–especially in the fall. I grew up in Florence near the Berkshire Mountains and my heart is always there! Happy belated birthday, and may peace be to you and yours!
