Grocery shopping with “help.” This weekend we’re going to a few parties, one of which is a mid-century potluck that promises jello and gimlets (I’m making pigs in a blanket! Had to ask the guy at the store where the little hotdogs were–at least I didn’t say little weiners!). I’m excited. Hope you have a good weekend!
Sarah Jessica Parker’s SOHO townhouse. The kids’ bathroom, the kitchen table, AND THAT TOP FLOOR.
I wish I was married to Ina Garten. (I’ve had this thought before. Every time Jeffrey walks through the door, basically.)
Making this Halloween craft at Parker’s school today.
Planet Earth 2 trailer–so good and perfect song choice! We own the first series and LOVE it.
This bootie was everywhere a few years ago (remember?). They’re still great and they’re on sale.
What would it be like to be the person who can whip up a cake that is this perfect for fall (or anytime)? Seriously?
The perpetual panic of American parenthood. The main culprits: lack of paid leave, high cost of childcare.
A guide to oats — choosing, soaking, cooking. Spoiler alert: no more instant oats!
Charity ranking. So many to choose from but some are better than others–i.e. the president of said charity’s salary isn’t millions of dollars per year. That site will help. (Save the Children is a good one and jus$50 is a fresh food for a family. The latest article I read predicted Aleppo would run out of food by the end of the month. It is simply heartbreaking.)

Hello – I don’t mean to be annoying just a heads up not to have your kid stand in the back of the stroller like that..I did that when I was a kid with my grandmother and I flipped out of the cart in the parking lot – big scar on my forehead to prove it. Whenever I see a kid in the cart like that at the store I can’t help my self, I have to stop and warn them. So sorry – I don’t mean to be one of “those people” just a word for the wise. Love your weekend link posts.

good advice! thanks jessica. as soon as we began moving, i made him sit down, but since it’s on wheels and could roll at any time, he should always be sitting, you’re right!

I enjoy your posts and photos so much. My little guy is 19 months old, and everything takes twice as long when he wants to “help”, but it’s such a sweet & short chapter for our family. The photo of your boys today reminded me that it’s ok to relax my schedule sometimes and just “let them be little”. Hope you have a great time at the parties this weekend. Pigs in a blanket are the best!!

Also wondering if this is SJPs only NYC house. The one she was interviewed in for a Vogue interview was cozy not chic.
