That’s a smile if I’ve ever seen it. This is a picture from William’s XC meet the other day (where he broke 18 minutes!! Go William!), waiting for him to take off. I’m a broken record at this point, but man, that smile is so cute. His sweatshirt is an oldie from the kind people at Emoi Emoi.
And for some reading…
Fraggle Rock is coming to HBO?! (I used to love this show and still remember the theme song.)
I feel like it’s time to start the winter wellness arsenal. (Almost three years later and it looks much the same, except I have been giving the boys this probiotic lately.)
Who’s watched the Amanda Knox documentary? (If so, what’s your verdict?)
This is a great vest. Sort of retro, no?
This chicken piccata recipe is being made in the near future. (I used to order chicken piccata at this restaurant in college all the time, and haven’t had it since.)

Speaking of, Michelle Obama on Trump. (Well said!)
The Great Barrier Reef was pronounced dead. This bums me out a lot.
Swedish government gives tax incentives for repairing items instead of tossing. Genius.
Have a good weekend, friends.

That speech was amazing!

I find it really odd that Amanda Knox did not freak out about the flat door being open and the drops of blood in the bathroom….but at the same time HOW CAN YOU KILL SOMEONE IF YOUR DNA IS NOT IN THE ROOM?!?!?!
So, I have to say not guilty beyond reasonable doubt is my verdict….
The prosecutor reminded me so much of the Duke Lax prosecutor, I think they were both power hungry and wanted to be considered heroes.
If you like this type of stuff read more about the duke case— https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QRIHFC/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1

I panicked when I read the linked post, but apparently it is still alive- though in peril!

We watched her speech from Germany and it is just as valid here as it is in America, except we don’t have such a vile person as Mr. Trump running for higher office. Thank God for politicians like Angela Merkel!
On another note: we visited your area last week (like most years). If you haven’t been to Kittery Point, go should there, you will love it, especially the people (and the food) at the ‘Black Birch’.

I haven’t seen the Amanda Knox documentary but I have read about her case extensively and I’ve read the book she wrote about it. I tend do think that she is innocent but there are some things that make me scratch my head and wonder. She had some really odd behavior afterward. At the same time, the Italian police really made a mess of things in their investigation. If she really was innocent, I feel so bad for her being forced to spend YEARS in a foreign jail, separated from her friends and family. How awful! There are a few mysteries like that which I find really fascinating… like her story and also the Madeleine McCann case. When I get to heaven, I am definitely going to be asking, “What REALLY happened?!?!?”

I do love that vest! The price is KILLING me though. LOL. It would be perfect for those soccer mom days when we have to sit around freezing while watching a bunch of 5/6 year olds chase after a ball. 🙂

I watched Amanda Knox on Netflix, and I think she is innocent! I think the documentary could have done a more thorough job, but from what they showed I really don’t think her actions afterward were that strange? I guess I believe her!
