In another life I actually go out for “a night on the town” like this.
In this life, however, not so much. In this life, it’s 9:30 and we’re on a date and the waiter comes around to ask if I’d like another glass of wine and I think, “Shit, that 6 am wakeup is really gonna hurt if I say yes.” So I sip my water, we pay our bill, and we’re home and in pajamas and bed by 10.
But, it’s fun to dress up like this for a little while, anyway. Maybe you people who have more fun than me can wear this outfit in my place.

I hear you! We had date night in the first time in ages over the weekend so I used it as an excuse to wear some cute shoes (although flats, not heels) instead of my Converse and we went out for drinks and dinner, only to be tired enough to be home by about 9:30!
