Earlier this week at a greenhouse–where I bought some plants that I’m desperately hoping I keep alive (I even made a iPhone reminder to fertilize every few weeks. I’m trying!!). This weekend, I’m hoping for a date night, some cleaning, and maybe a nice long bike ride. You?
Some weekend reading…
This guy is a professional cuddler. (I sort of get this?)
11 rom-com heroines who are sort of the worst.
This little cottage is amazing. That kitchen! Those bunks!
I tried this on the other day and it smells amazing (a bit reminiscent of sunscreen and the beach–in a really good way).
Replacing detention with meditation.
Mrs. Doubtfire house on the market! (I loved it then, love it now).
This would be nice for date night with a pair of blackĀ jeans.
I’m hoping to have this tonight.
40 American towns you haven’t heard of but should visit. I love these sorts of articles. And I love that Wolfeboro, NH made the list!! (Jim Thorpe too! Another favorite.)
Have a good weekend!

Tell us more about the plants! What did you get? Don’t you have a fiddle leaf fig in your house? How is that one doing? I’ve been wanting to get one but I’m nervous about keeping it alive.

i have. i got my second one. the first was actually super healthy and beautiful for a really long time. when we moved, i brought it to a neighbor’s house until we were officially in our own (there was a delay with closing!) and she kept it outside in the sun where it never really recovered from š so this is my second try! i find that they’re FAIRLY easy. let em dry between waterings but really soak them when you do. and fertilize every few weeks!

I thought the professional cuddler thing was weird at first…and still do find it quite sad, but I get it too!

Sauvie Island is a DREAM! It’s where all the great pumpkin patches are in the fall, sandy beaches in the summer, and a gorgeous plant nursery I could wander around for hours. This house + Sauvie Island…perfection.

That house!!! (from mrs. doubtfire) Sooo classy and traditional, I love it. It makes me want to go curl up in the 90’s for a little while, haha. Also, the article about heroines who kind of suck – seriously!! So many of them are worthless. Blah.
