A picture from last weekend–some of the littlest cousins altogether. Isn’t this adorable? Love those faces. Hope you have a good weekend! Here’s some reading…
Bill Murray bartends (and is an hour late for his shift!).
“Whoops just spent the rest of my paycheck on a bottle of champagne and pizza, which I’m eating in the dark because I can’t change a lightbulb, while watching a Netflix show on an account I share with seven people, which I have turned up all the way because my smoke alarm has been beeping for the last three months.” Stop taking pride not knowing how to do basic shit. (I loved this.)
Goop goes into the fashion business ($195 for a chambray and $695 for a blazer?? Oof. Come on, Gwyneth.).
Photographer documents her bipolar mother.
These are fabulous.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split. (I’m sure you’re not hearing it here first.)
Distraction sickness. Andrew Sullivan writes about what’s plaguing us. Depressing.
Nordstrom is carrying Herbivore now! (Have you guys tried it? What do you love by them?)

Loved the article on distraction. I’ve had a pretty bad MS flare up for over a month now, my existence being moving from a chair to the couch to the bed to the bathroom. My lifeline has been my phone, the iPad, tv, books etc & while it’s been my connection to others & a distraction from my boredom, I realize just how sick & tired I am of it all & feel like throwing them out the window – my mind is on overload at times & I just sit in silence for a while to try & dejunk my brain! I guess my point is while all this technology is wonderful & amazing it just really can be so damaging too. Balance is the key! How I wish I could be outside taking a walk, breathing in the fresh air & doing all the things I often take for granted. Put down your devices if only for a little while & notice all the things around you. I love your blog & have never commented before but this just struck a chord with me today!

Tried Herbivore…did not love any of it/found it highly overrated. I tried the sea salt spray and charcoal bar and another thing that I don’t recall. Perhaps they have changed, this has been a few years…but I was not wowed whatsoever.

I haven’t tried any of their actual skincare, but I did do the coconut sea salt spray and didn’t think it was as good as the Bumble and Bumble equivalent. (Their skincare would be the true test for me, though!). With that said, I did love the smell of it? Oh, and the bottles. Not that that should count for anything!
