What is even happening here? Why is fall so pushy? (I write this as I smell the spicy scent of a pumpkin candle lit in my own kitchen. I AM SO CONFLICTED.) Anyway, nice weather this weekend and I’m hoping you and yours have a good one! Let’s get outside while we still can! (Unless you’re reading this from California in which case you can go outside every single day all year long.) Anyway, here’s some weekend reading…
A bike trail from Maine to Florida? So cool.
Earth endangered by new strain of fact-resistant humans. LOL.
A camper that turns into a boat. I want one!
Kids can wear their own drawings. So fun for them.
What religion would Jesus belong to?
World’s greatest thrift store: where all of our lost airline luggage goes.
This bag is awesome and is 50% off.
I’m considering making my own graham crackers. Oddly feel as though I’ll have arrived as woman once I do (oddly feel as though I’ve arrived just because I’m considering it so maybe that’s enough?)?
See you next week!

I do like those weekends – so many interesting (or hilarious) reads!
As Germany get its summer after all now so no signs of autumn here and like it is with me sometimes, I’m craving cold nights, the smell of chili for dinner and the opportunity to wear my new boots (I’m annoyed with myself right now because I know I will miss so those summer evenings soon but still…) But we are making one last trip to the sea for this year and maybe I’ll be able to just enjoy the nice weather there. And I’m going to take „Waiting for birdy” with me – I’m really looking forward to read it. I wish for you and yours a good weekend too.

I was walking through Target yesterday and saw a whole section of aisles dedicated to Halloween candy. I was like, ‘Whaaaaatttt???” I mean, WHO is planning that far ahead to buy Halloween candy? Can’t those people just buy candy in the regular candy aisle? What is going on? I do enjoy fall but c’mon, people. We just started September!

What religion would Jesus belong to…. so good! I often wonder when we will stop looking at others actions as good or bad and start looking at our own. All it takes is a simple “hi” or a smile… a helping hand.

I can’t wait for fall! Our summer has been so hat and dry. My feeling towards summer at this point are very much of the Bye Felicia variety.
Also, the Unclaimed Baggage Store is ah-mah-zing! I found a $175 Rag & Bone hat for $5!!

hot and dry…. not hat and dry! haha!

you’ve been there?!

It is about an hour or so away from where we live. We had heard about it and made a trip out there one weekend. There is some pretty crazy stuff! I couldn’t believe all the things that people lost or that went unclaimed. There were so many wedding dresses! They also have the Hoggle puppet from the Labyrith (not for sale) that had been lost and they ended up getting it!
bridget says
that is CRAZY. i’d love to visit it just to see!

I want to go to Alabama now. Or should I say back to Alabama (I’ve been there a handful of times and even “lived” there for a month in 2010)?
As for the graham crackers – they look delicious but terrifying to make. I’m certain I’d just end up with a mess.

Love the religion/Jesus link!
