We’re in Colorado this week visiting Steve’s family and going to his nephew’s wedding. I took this picture on a hike in Evergreen. It just seemed so… Colorado? Anyway, what a beautiful state this is. One of my favorites! Looking forward to a few more days of exploring before we head home. (more on Snapchat and IG!)
“Jen and I are utterly horrified to announce the arrival of our son…” LOL. An honest birth announcement.
These are on sale and are awesome. I’ve tried them on and they’re comfortable too.
This farming robot is amazing. (Though, it begs the question: are we going to be slowly replaced by robots?)
The foods everyone was obsessed with year by year. The year of my birth is blackened fish. I’m so disappointed by this.
This shop has the nicest things; I’ve been using the immunity roll-on on the boys’ feet and I love it. (Even on my own wrists–the smell is just so good. Plus the benefits!)
Love these book storage ideas for kids’ rooms. The DIY drawer turned book bin!
22 movies on Netflix you didn’t know you should be watching (including one shot entirely on an iPhone. What?!).
Ummmmm this dress.
Son secretly replaces all the pictures of his brother with Steve Buscemi and Mom hasn’t noticed. This is hysterical.
Hope you guys have a fabulous weekend. See you next week!

Essential oils are everything!! Literally replaced almost every product in my home with essential oils in some form; shampoo, face wash, immunity booster, post workout boost, diaper rash cream, and the list goes on.

Kind of sad/disappointing to hear you say “Steve’s family” and “his nephew”….in my marriage it is our family and our nephew. I know you’re a newcomer to the family but you are married and that means you are family.

we’ve been married ten years, so I wouldn’t say I’m a newcomer to the family. But really just being specific for readers who might be confused if I simply say “my family” thinking “but doesn’t her family live in New Jersey?” There’s really nothing more to it. Kind of sad/disappointing that you’d assume there is. (And since his nephew is only a few years younger than I am, we don’t really refer to one another in the typical Aunt/nephew terms.)

Cynthia, what a strange (and completely inappropriate) thing to comment on. Bridget- thanks for sharing snippets of your life on such an open forum & sorry you have to put up with the judgemental comments from a select few. Love your blog x
