Making: baked potato wedges to go with burgers. so good and so easy!
Cooking: chicken with this marinade; chicken is infinitely better when it’s been marinated. we put it on top of salad the other night.
Drinking: Sam Adams Porch Rocker.
Reading: Pride and Prejudice; I’ve talked about reading this for… (well, let’s see… since I wrote this post in 2012!!!!). it really is so good, what’s taking me so long?
Wanting: these shoes but they are sold out EVERYWHERE.
Looking: at the backyard. it’s so green right now. enjoying it before August’s heat burns it up!
Playing: the discover weekly spotify playlist. it’s really good.
Eating: watermelon! watermelon! watermelon!
Wishing: I had endless amounts of travel vouchers. where would I go first? The national parks out West are still sooooo high on my agenda.
Enjoying: climbing in bed next to Anders at night; man, a sleeping baby who’s otherwise so busy is the best. sometimes I try to cuddle him so much that I wake him which is not what I’m ever going for!
Loving: the flower boxes all over town. they are so pretty.
Needing: a strapless bra. how dumb is that? I literally don’t have one (I used to but it was never awesome and has since disappeared.) and there’s a ton of clothes/dresses I can’t wear without one! when I’m done nursing (who knows when that will be?!), I’ll finally invest in this one which a million of you have recommended.
Smelling: coffee, the best smell!
Feeling: a mix of nostalgia, happiness, anxiousness, excitement. just another day in the head of Bridget.
Wearing: leggings and a tank; just worked out!
Following: the Bachelorette. it’s so good. some of you have asked me to do recap posts but here’s the thing–there are a million of them now and they’re all SO MUCH FUNNIER than me. but man, this season is rife with things to laugh at and comment on.
Bookmarking: this recipe; William has it at his friend’s house and has been asking me to make it.

That grass is lovely as are the trees in the background…what are your plans for the fence line? I think blue and white hydrangeas would look lovely there if it isn't too sunny. They are easy to grow and make for gorgeous cut flowers.

When you're done nursing, just get the Nubra (or the cheaper version at Target which is made by the same people). Life changing! None of the girls in my family will ever go back to hoisting a strapless bra up all day again! It worked on my size which looks pretty similar to yours. Also, this is my first summer in two years where I'm not pregnant or nursing and I love rediscovering my wardrobe! Hello strappy blouses and cute sundresses with no boob access!
