How do you like your Vans so far? I bought the black leather pair last week but think I'm going to return them because the stitching inside is very scratchy and keeps rubbing blisters. :/ Bummed because I really like the look of them!

We bought our 4yo this bike for his birthday! He absolutely LOVES it and picked it up so fast. Highly recommended, very sturdy and safe. http://www.amazon.com/Royalbaby-Button-Training-Wheels-Perfect/dp/B016Y72P0U

My daughter (3) and her best buddy (3.5 boy) both have this balance bike: http://smile.amazon.com/Chicco-Bullet-Balance-Training-Bike/dp/B004MW55Z2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1463761549&sr=8-1&keywords=chicco+balance+bike
They both love it and FLY down the sidewalk. I am amazed at how quickly they picked it up and how steady they are. We have a few big wheels, so they are getting the hang of peddling and I think the transition to a regular bike will be really easy.

ooh – good price point too. thanks anna!

Balance bikes are AWESOME! Both my boys used them and learning to ride a regular bike was a total non-event. Very cool.

I have three boys and three balance bikes but by far our best one was by -glide. They were one of the first out there – has a brake and an easy adjustable seat. Check it: http://www.glidebikes.com. And just for the record- your my favorite Friday link round up poster! Have a great weekend!

Check out the specialized balance bike. They are on the pricier end, but they are totally worth it. They glide and turn effortlessly. We love the balance bike!

I learned to ride my bike all on my own…but then again I waited until I was 12 and I dented the walls a couple times so I can't say I have the best advice.

I second the chicco bullet balance bike. Inexpensive and it does the trick. We gave it to our daughter on her second birthday…she's 3.5 now and has been riding her big girl bike for a few weeks. Smooth transition.

We have a Kazam Balance Bike for our 4 year old. He's super cautious and did not like the training wheels bikes. HE LOVES his balance bike. He's getting more and more comfortable on it. It was a great choice for him.
