some highlights of the 4moms high chair:
– super easy to clean. it is all wipe-able.
– the tray removes with one hand… and magnets on (but like really, really strong magnets). you literally just hover the tray over where it attaches and… it attaches. plus, the bowl magnets on too!
– you can move it up and down so that it can be closer to the counter if it’s in the kitchen, but low enough to be pulled up to your kitchen table too. this is great for when anders is in the kitchen with me while i cook.
– it’s good looking!
– anders hasn’t said otherwise, so i’m assuming it’s also really comfortable.
– doesn’t scratch the hardwood floors when it’s slid around!
– removable tray top that clips on and off
– comes in the three colors that you see below
stay tuned for a giveaway on my instagram next week!

My son has the same pj's as Parker! I love them. Perfect for future firefighters.:)Love the highchair also! Ours is pretty great as it's an antique wood one and the tray lifts up so it's easy for putting babies into but we did have to put little felt buttons on the legs so it doesn't scratch our hardwood floors…

when he spotted them at h&m he HAD TO HAVE THEM.
i looooove those antique wood ones!!

I second the need for a wipeable seat! My first high chair was also a fabric seat and it was a PAIN to clean. That said, $300 is a big steep for a high chair! I've been really happy with the Ikea Antilop high chair at less than 1/10th of the price. It's easy to clean, has nice clean lines that blend well with our decor, and at $20 you can't beat the price!

rachel, i know that ikea high chair and it is pretty great. it's the one the boys use when we're at my moms house!

Cool Highchair! But, what is that silver thing to the right of your sink…? I have no idea and feel silly.
bridget says
berkey water filter! no need to feel silly. i think most people don't know!

OMG. This would be perfect for our little one! We've been searching and searching for the perfect high chair (counter height and adjustable for table height). S/he is due in July. How long have you been using it? Is it pretty durable?
bridget says
about a month! totally durable. (also – note that it doesn't get TOTALLY to counter height, but very close.)

Great timing as I was just about to start a search for a high chair.
Have you done a post about your methods when transitioning the boys to solid food? I'm planning to BF my 6 month old for much, much longer, but starting to think about introducing solids in the next few months (or when she starts showing an interest in food). Probably baby led weaning will be the route I take, but curious about other mothers' experiences on this topic!
bridget says
i haven't, actually. i have a few posts of some of the things i used to give parker though!

it was BLW but more by accident (or laziness??) than anything and it's going the same way with anders!

This looks awesome! I HATE cleaning our fabric cover one and then getting all the nasty food stuck out of every crevice of the plastic. HATE it. Can't wait to get rid of it.

I am 30 (!!) weeks pregnant with our first baby and picking a high chair has been one of the hardest things (not to mention stroller/car seat/travel system – who knew there were so many?!). We have narrowed it down to the Stokke Trip Trap and the 4Moms – both have steep prices but seem worth the quality. There are not a lot of reviews out there on the 4Moms high chair because it is so new, but it is working well for you and seems good quality? And just curious – does it take up a lot of room in your kitchen? Thanks!!
bridget says
oh the trip trapp is another beautiful high chair!!
i'd say it's got a pretty small footprint, yes! (i think the dimensions are on the website just to be safe!)
bridget says
also, congrats!!!

The highchair is very cute, and I wish I had know about them when my daughter was a baby. She will be six this weekend! But your overalls on the other hand I can use now and are adorable! Where are they from?
bridget says
free people!

Given that Anders is practically reading and writing at this point, he might need to hand this down to Alma in the next week or so.
