7 Netflix documentaries worth streaming. (And 12 that will make you want to be healthier.)
I usually go the traditional route with Easter eggs but these are beautiful. So are these.

Do you guys eat kale? Is that the dumbest question ever? Despite the fact that I’m a sort of healthy person, I have never gotten on the kale bandwagon. (Sidetone: I had a kale caesar salad last summer in South Jersey that I really did love.)

Parker is more interested in helping in the kitchen all the time. Just last week he was devastated (truly devastated) when Steve made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for him because he wanted to do it himself! We didn’t know how important this was! This post on Orangette is a good primer for kids in the kitchen.
Rachael’s post on paternity leave was so good. “They love carrots” made me laugh out loud and then the parts about her husband working from home had me nodding my head furiously. (I’ve never blogged about it, but I mostly can’t stand when Steve works from home.)

It softens the kale and makes it less bitter. Its the key to kale salads.

Oh thank you for the documentaries link! I've been totally hooked on Netflix documentaries. I just finished Food Inc (only a few years late) and am so hooked. Also, I do not watch the Bachelor, but have read one of the contestant's autobiographies and laughed hysterically at the whole article.
My husband is grading papers while I read Rachels post – all so true. I'm new to kale, we had kale risotto which was an okay start, but I want to try kale salad too next time.

I had a food allergy test done last year and kale was something I'm moderately sensitive to! So I don't even try anymore, ha.
Here's a go-to recipe of mine for kale. It's easy to make and the chicken really flavors everything else (carrots, sweet potatoes, really anything will work with the kale and the chicken).

The cost per use that we got out of our Little Tykes car was insane….long past the point you would have thought they would be interested. ALWAYS the thing the entire pack of kids wanted to play with. Weird but useful!
I'm a hardcore dansko lover! I love wearing them with skinny jeans or cords and I especially love that clogs are re-entering popularity right now. (Though who are we kidding? It'd be like someone telling me my birks are out of style this summer- still wearing them!)
