This is my favorite song on Josh Garrels’ new album (though the video isn’t my favorite).
Since I was in England, I might’ve googled where some of The Holiday was filmed. (We didn’t go on a search for movie locations though. Considered it.)
This creamy pumpkin pasta looks so good.
These shoes, men and women alike!
I really like Nell’s Facebook page. A lot of good posts (this coming from someone who barely browses “The Book” these days). She’s worth a “like!”
So comfy and good for all seasons (I’m currently roasting in my white fleecy one).
Can’t wait to see this movie.
Balmain chaos. (Did you get anything?)
Have you ever made mashed cauliflower? I’m interested.
The Churchill War Museum (worth a visit if you’re in London) was full of these amazing propaganda posters from World War II. Felt like another world — especially ones like this!
Back Monday with a few more travel posts until it’s back to ho-hum normal life!

Mashed cauliflower, YES! I've made it with several different recipes, you can't go wrong.

We love mashed cauliflower! Sometimes I do it on it's own completely, but often I follow a recipe that's part cauliflower part potato. With the real potatoes mixed in, it really does seem like you've got 100% mashed potatoes when a large part of it is cauliflower instead.

LOVE me some mashed cauliflower!! I usually skip the milk and go for sour cream and Parmesan until it's creamy – put it in your food processor; it'll make your life easier.

I totally bought some of those vintage propaganda posters at the Cabinet War Rooms when I was in London eight or nine years ago. I went with "Never was so much owed by so many to so few" and "Women of Britain, come into the factories". I think they're still up on the walls of the my old bedroom in my mom's house.
I often feed the kids I take care of mashed potatoes that are only half potato, the other half cauliflower. I've found it minimizes the texture difference for picky eaters, but still gets the veggie serving in. I also recently cut a batch of potatoes with an entire cabbage chopped up in the food processor- slightly more work to achieve the desired "mashed potato" texture, but still totally delicious and the kids didn't have a clue!

We love mashed cauliflower and even better, "twice baked" with bacon, cheese and chives mixed in.

Welcome back hunt fam! yes. mashed cauliflower is the best with some butter and salt/pepper! I also no longer make rice. I rice my cauliflower in a food processor or buy it at trader joes in frozen (note: they released it then sold out of it immediately for the next 3 months, so check on that). I have also done Shepherd's pie with cauliflower, but prefer it with sweet potato. :)))

Mashed cauliflower is delicious! Cauliflower "rice" is another favorite in our house. You can throw almost anything over it and it elevates the dish (without bulking it up, as rice is wont to do).

I have that robe! I bought it and the matching bottoms for post-labour. Currently lounging in them now and they're looking just as good as they did a year ago!
