I’ve always been a huge Aden + Anais fan. Now these?! Love.
How about this for a teacher’s gift?
I ate ribollita twice in Florence and now I want to have a really great recipe in my repertoire back home. It was so good. (Proclaiming I have a “repertoire” makes me sound much more together than I really am.) I’m starting with this one. Can’t beat Ina.
I’m hearing so much about this kid toy. I think it’s going to be on Parker’s Christmas list (whether he knows it or not).
Have you seen this round-up of 27 Airbnbs you have to stay at before you die?! One is a SKI LIFT.
I’m making this monkey bread as soon as I’m home.
30 Things you Need by the Time You’re 30. Some of these made me chuckle.
Have you guys heard of The Hatchery? I’m intrigued.
These ankle boots are awesome.
See you next week!

Magna tiles are life changing. For everyone 🙂 I hands down (or up) recommend them. There was a period after we put the kids down for bed when Jaryd and I would come downstairs and build things in silence. P.S. Your trip looks absolutely stunning!!

Magna Tiles – best money you'll ever spend (or, in our case, the best money grandparents have ever spent). You won't regret it.

Joining the chorus of those recommending magna tiles — my parents got them for the 5-year-old last Christmas and they're almost always out on the floor in various configurations. I think one of the best things about then is that Parker can play with them WITH his other stuff. My son will build castles and hideouts and towers for his lego people and his playmobil people. plus they're easy to put together and not frustrating for a little kid.
So loving your posts and photos, Bridget!!! I cannot wait to go back to Italy soon and it's utterly beautiful drinking in your words and pics. Thank you!
And I am ALL OVER that ina Ribollita. Love. Me. Some. Ina. Thanks for the rec!

Magna-tiles – YES! Worth every penny. Santa had to bring another set a year later so that there was enough for my boys to share. Awesome.

Two of my son's favorite things mentioned in one of your blogposts! Magformers (very similar to Magna-tiles) and monkey bread! I make a very similar recipe that my Mom used to make when I was a kid. The Magformers provide hours of entertainment and have for several years; he's six now. Also, have SOOOO loved reading your Italy posts (except for the one when Anders was sick). Need to go there soon!

For my money, Tamar Adler's recipe for ribollita from her book An Everlasting Meal can't be beat! And if you haven't read the book, I highly recommend it! It's a beautiful meditation on food and feeding ourselves simply yet deliciously. 🙂
