For Mother’s Day, we went into Boston beginning with brunch with friends in the seaport area, and ending up in Beacon Hill for a late lunch and ice cream. In between we moseyed all around the city, on one of the most beautiful days yet.
For brunch, we ate eggs and blueberry waffles and coffee and orange juice and then, once we had sufficiently walked that off, we made our way to the gardens. Everything is in full bloom and everyone was out to enjoy it. Then we went to, our favorite, Paramount. We took our food to go, opting for picnicking on the garden. And finally, some JP Licks for dessert, which Parker slept right through.
It was a really special day. Being a mother is about my favorite gig in the whole world and these kids mean the world to me. I am the luckiest. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Looks like a Beautiful day! Love the pics and those kids, well they are all just growing so much and that Lindsey is just gorgeous!!!
she is such a young woman now, it's crazy. and yes, so beautiful!
It sounds like a really lovely day! I have a question and I hope it doesn't come across as snarky. Do the kids honor their mom on Mother's Day? I just wondered how it worked as a blended family like yours.
not snarky! there's always mention of her, but i would say her birthday and the day she passed away are days where their mom and her memory is talked about more purposefully. and all year long, as it comes up too.
Looks like a great day! Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants to know about the sandals!
JP Licks Coffee Oreo + Chocolate is my jam.
