sometimes blogging is a head-scratcher. i’m not sure what it’s all about and what i’m even doing. but then i’ll get an email from a beautiful mama, wife, and reader like nycole asking for some help and i’m like, “shoot. i’m so glad i’ve got this blog.” if i can get the word out to like ten of you? that’s ten more than before. (though, i’m hoping for more than ten!!)
nycole is in the above video. her husband brandon has cystic fibrosis and time’s not on his side. please watch it, it’ll explain it all. i cannot begin to imagine the urgency and desperation nycole feels on getting this video out, getting more people behind team brandon, and ultimately getting brandon healed.
share it, share it, share it. facebook, tweet, blog, word of mouth. and i know there are a lot of incredible causes out there, but if this one tugs at you, consider giving?
{here’s the website.}

Thanks for sharing this, Bridget. I shared on fb, twitter and will share this link to your post on Friday on my blog. Donating now too. I can't imagine what they're going through and hope that we can make a difference for them!
Thank you so so much!
Bridget, I can't thank you enough for sharing this. I have cystic fibrosis, so this hits very very close to home. May is actually Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, and I've been trying to share as much as I can about what living with this disease is like – this will be going on my blog today. CF is a very misunderstood disease, and I truly believe the more people know the more they'll be willing to support. And putting faces to this illness is a big part of that. To really see WHO it's affecting and where their money is going is so important.
The blogging community has been more supportive than I ever could have imagined when it's come to me sharing my journey with CF. And I'm so happy that Brandon and his family will get to witness the power of this community too. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if there's anything else I can do, just let me know.
oh my goodness! i suppose i should say you're welcome, but it's really nycole who brought this to my attention 🙂 nevertheless i am so glad the blogging community has been a positive one in your own journey with CF. wishing you the best of health along the way. and thank you so much for this sweet comment!
(and thank you to all of you who are sharing and/or donating!!!! xoxoxo!)
I will be sharing and donating-this one hits close to home! My 28 year old cousin is living with CF and was told he wouldn't live past 10 and here he is, just graduated last month with his masters degree in international politics. I myself am a CF carrier and it terrifies me if I'm being honest. THanks for sharing this!
Thank you, thank you!
Thank you for sharing this!
Bridget, thank you so much for taking the time to read my email and respond so positively. You are truly gracious, and you have some pretty stellar followers!
it was my pleasure! and right?! some of the kindest people visit this blog, i tell you what! looking forward to following brandon's journey to health 🙂 xoxo
Jesus Bridget. I am losing it over here.
My dear friend David's son is living with cystic fibrosis and it is a cause that has always been near and dear to me.
I can feel Nycole's love for her husband in this video. I will do my best to get the word out.
thanks so much susan 🙂
Oh man, completely in tears over here. What a beautiful and loving family. You can just see the happiness and life in him. It's so hard to wonder why these things happen to people, isn't it? Heartbreaking. Thanks for sharing Bridget, I feel great about donating to help this family any way I can.
First time commenting, but a long time reader : )
This story really touched me. I suffer from back pain that can sometimes be debilitating. I've been really bad off lately, and I know what dealing with medical bills and not being able to carry your child, or just walk in general, is like. I know the unescapable feeling of being held back by your body. I had a good day today, very little pain and I felt renewed, and I pray that Brandon will have that one day too. This story put things in perspective for me, and (for the first time ever) I felt compelled to donate and get the word out (seriously, a million dollars for a medical procedure should be a sin against humanity!!). God is good, and will do great things for their family! Thanks for sharing Bridget!
jennifer! i can't imagine the frustration. wishing you healing!! thank you so much for donating/sharing brandon's story.
