The makings of a dance party are simple really. Just keep tuning into some loud, fun music, grab a few happy kids, and move your feet. We do these on the regular lately. Usually after dinner. During that sometimes witchy dinner’s-over-but-it’s-not-bedtime-yet hour. Parker loves them, especially if we all chant “Go Parker!” while he twirls in the middle of our watching eyes. And Lindsey, she’s got moves. You can catch her doing her own thing complete with these sophisticated head moves as we all dance about. There’s falling and rolling and spinning and twirling too. I’d recommend some Stevie Wonder, some Motown, or some Elvis if you want to get the party started in your own home too.

We just recently discovered the power of dance parties in the home with a 2, 3, and 4 yr old…huhlarious. 🙂 My Steven sounds a lot like your Steve…won't bust out the moves unless he's had a few. World's missing out I tell you…

Love the moving pictures! We had a fun dance party last week with my boys. It was brought on because my 8 yr old was going to a disco dance party at school. So we put on a bit of disco and danced. Theres nothings o youthful than watching and dancing with your kids. love it!

LOVE family dance parties!! They became much more fun once we had two children and I'm SURE your Hunt Family dance parties are AWESOME…Parker's a lucky kid to be a first in so many important ways but also never an only child!

Oh, yes. That's what I'm talking about! Husband and I normally blast "Early Jazz" on Pandora while we are cleaning or cooking which very often leads to me swing dancing and husband flailing his bad back and forth. Love.
