last week we went out for a little dinner date: william, lindsey, parker, steve and i. jordan had been gone all week visiting cousins for spring break in minnesota (see how i threw that in there so ya’ll know we didn’t just force him to eat pb&j at home by himself?). i put red lipstick on for probably the first time since parker was born–what can i say?! i was feeling a little saucy!–and off we went for an early dinner on a beautiful night. pulled beef nachos and margaritas (for the adults) were on the menu. so delicious. i mean, so delicious. mexican food agrees with me.
steve played the part of photographer-extraordinaire that night and got some pictures that i downright cherish. there are some new favorites in this batch.
hope your weekend was a good one!
Such beautiful pictures! You have one stinkin cute little man!!! And one very talented husband- in the photography department, LOL. I am a little jealous of your mexican food, not gonna lie. Germany lacks all things Mexican.
Hope you have a great week!!!
Gorgeous photos! How do you get him to do it!!?? Whenever I ask my guy I get, "ehh, I'm not really a photo guy"
Looks like a wonderful night with your wonderful family!

Beautiful pictures. Every time I see pictures of you and the kids it just makes me weepy. I read through your love story when I first started reading your blog and it's so touching. You are a wonderful woman! That picture of you and Parker laying down…THE BEST….and that straight forward one of just Parker- DANG IT- he is SO cute!!!!!!
I too could eat Mexican ANY MEAL OF THE DAY, WEEK, MONTH. MY FAVE!!!!! Chips and Salsa and a Dr. Pepper…nothing better.
Happy Monday!
Oh Lord, the one of you + HuntHunt is so precious. I can't stand it.
when were you there? we were in that SAME spot on saturday. althought, probs not the same spot, as that might've caused some awkward personal space issues. we love Newbs!

Seriously- Steve needs a photography blog. These photos are perfect! They are like scenes from a movie.

Steve took some great shots!! That one of Parker – gosh, he looks so grown up, and he looks JUST like Steve!
A perfect weekend!
mmmm i miss home. and agave.
Wow! Beautiful pictures. Parker looks just like your husband in that one close up, right? Did Steve already like taking pictures or has it grown on him over time? I'm hoping this skill will grow on my husband, a lot 🙂
what, no tequila for the babes? what kind of mom are you? also, i cherish these pics as well. and you look fab.
all around, an A+ kinda post.
Great pics! Love the one of you and your little man saying "number one!" to each other. Looks like you guys had a great and relaxing night out. Oh, and the first pic…totally thought it was Jessica Alba out and about. 🙂
OMG where are those ADORABLE shoes from?!
That picture of Parker, close up? Money.
Straight up print that.
Those are some perfect pictures!
So cute!! I have a 8 month old and still cannot commit to any kid of "diaper bag" but I love the bag you are carrying and it looks like it could be a good option – can you share where it is from?? Thanks : )
@jax0582, it's actually american eagle from tjmaxx–i too could not find a diaper bag i liked!! this has worked!
@hannah, urban outfitters, but a couple years old!
i cannot look at a picture of parker without smiling.
The grease in all mexican food doesn't agree with me. 🙁 I wish it did! Cuz it tastes soooo good! lol. I just can't believe how much little Parker looks like his daddy at this point. So cute!
These pictures, oh my God, Bridget.
I have two favorites…you, William, and Parker loving on each other…and Parker's face!
Steve's head is probably already too big, but tell him I said these are great! 😉
How did you get your husband to play photographer? I wish mine would assume that role!
And I can completely understand why!!!! That #1 pic is so perfect! It should probably be on his birthday invitation. Just sayin….
you rock the red lipstick, lady.
Beauuuutiful pictures! I love the one of you and Parker both with a finger up! Precious. Totally envious of the Mexican food. And I just ordered that dress in red! SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU IN A FEW WEEKS!!!!!
gorgeous!
i hope you blow those pictures of you & parker up and put them in a matte photo book. because they are awesome, and you need to feel like you are in a magazine.
