and i say that because it’s one of those places that you come across that’s so beautiful that the fact that it is existing and you haven’t yet visited it and may never do so makes your heart hurt. know what i mean? i came across it in a coastal living magazine while sitting waiting for a prenatal (there’s a lot of those). my jaw dropped. actually dropped. have you ever seen a place so magnificent in all your life?! i told steve we must go. i said, “look! the bed is right there! the ocean is right there! two chairs right there for coffee in the morning! the pool is right there!! we would fall in love again!” he was trying to take his morning flaxseed meal concoction so he wasn’t quite as enthused as i was as he choked it down, but mark my words… if we come into a lot of money, this place will be at the top of the list (or we will have to sell the children one by one until we get enough for at least a 7 night stay).

We just spent a day in St. Lucia and the good news is that while Jade Mountain costs like $1500/nt, the beach is public! Does look heavenly though… (Remember it from Jake and Vienna's season?)

I've had this place saved in my favorites on my computer for months! HA one day.. (ya right). Ever since it was on the bachelor, I hounded this site down and fell in love. Also shared it with my boyfriend and he agreed it was amazing.

We went to St. Lucia fir our honeymoon and to be honest, neither of us enjoyed it. While it is a beautiful island there were a lot of things that we didn't care for. We fell victim to the marketing, one day we will go on another honeymoon…together of course! 😉

So the top 'all inclusive' package is $24,000 for two people for seven nights. I want to meet the person–ok, ok–I want to BE the person who spends $24,000 on a vacation.

we had priced this out for our honeymoon with our travel agent. $9,000 for 5 nights! insane. we are going to Antigua and spending 12 days at two amazing all-inclusive resorts for the same price! but there is just nothing like Jade Mountain!

this is also my DREAM vacation destination/hotel!! I ran across it a couple years ago on the travel site Mr & Mrs Smith and freaked out. I MUST go in my lifetime. MUST. My coworker went there on her honeymoon. I kind of wanted to punch her 🙂 hahaha jealousy does yucky things! I joke, I joke. I immediately asked her if it was as amazinggg as it looked in the pictures. And to my delight (or dismay) she confirmed that yes, in fact, it is heaven on earth.
This place looks so dreamy and exquisite! I think if I had a picture next to "Visit a magical, private island" on my bucket list, these photos would be there!

we went there for our honeymoon in october of 2009. it was only 6500 for a 5 night all inclusive total romance package (all food and activities) and they upgraded us to a higher level room for free. it's worth every penny in my opinion.
I went there for my honeymoon in January 2010 and I agree with @Abby – its worth every penny. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
My husband and I were married at Jade Mountain and spent 10 nights there. Worth every single penny and more. Heavenly!!!
It IS just as beautiful a the pictures show (and more). Went there last May for a week and did NOT want to leave! Talk about getting pampered!!!!
