This is not to suggest that my main man can’t pick out a decent present for me himself, but it’s always nice to have a little help, isn’t it? Though, I must say, funds are tight right about now. With almost every Hunt birthday having fallen in the last three weeks, gas prices (the most frustrating of all!), and baby-on-the-way purchases, I feel like all I should ask for are a few hugs, some nice attitudes, and a back rub. I’m not whining. Too much, anyway. But maybe this list will help someone formulate theirs–someone who’s got more cash dolla right about now.
I think your list is great. especially for a young mom. My mom is coming to visit me a week after mom's day and my sister is flying in too. we are getting our nails done, and I'm going to take them out for brunch. it's not too often my mom gets her daughters together often these days since we all live thousands of miles apart. xo
@kirby, that sounds soooo lovely! i will see my mom a a few days close to mother's day — but not on the actual day unfortunately!
I have always wanted a flip camera! If I had kids I would claim it was for posterity sake, to record their lives with the touch of a button.

Yep, like all others, I am diggin' on those slips. Guess I'll have to check them out. Hope you get all of these goodies–all I got for my first/soon-to-be-a Mother's Day gift was chocolate….which I won't complain about (but guess I kinda just did??). 😉
Ah I have wanted a flip camera for the longest time! And I asked for those exact L.L. Bean slippers for Christmas, which I did not get! ha

3. If you don't… you should bring your old slippers to someones house who has a dog… put some kind of greasy, yummy gook that dogs love smeared all over them… and then "take them off" in front of the dog. OOPS! Dog ate slippers! Owners will feel so bad… they will get you NEW ones.

I'm getting my friend (who is a very recent mother) a polaroid camera for m-day so she can have instant snapshots of her little one.
