Bath time the other day after a sticky, sweaty day around the house. Anders has been potty-training (guys! It’s going pretty well! I’m so proud of him.) so we’ve been pretty housebound all week. There’s something especially sweet that happens at bath time. End of a long day, their adorable little bodies, them looking up at you while you carefully rinse their hair. I’m really, really grateful for my time with these kids.

Finally bought an Instant Pot. Direct me to the best place to learn how to use it, and find the good recipes. I’m lost! That thing has a lot of buttons. I’m thinking of this for my first recipe with it.
Steve bought this book at Costco recently and is loving it.
I haven’t heard much talk about Stranger Things 3. Are you guys watching? I haven’t started yet. I did just finish Big Little Lies (thought it was a great season) and am deep in Handmaid’s Tale (I love that show). And we finally finished When They See Us about the Central Park Five. It was so incredibly heartbreaking. A must-watch. What are you watching these days?

Have you guys seen all the press about the new Beautycounter line? It’s good. I’m using the entire line in my IG stories (@itsahuntlifewellness) if you want to see. So far: love it. The oil cleanser and the essence feel so good on my skin.

Yay for potty training! Go you! Potty training is my least favorite part of parenting so far. Maybe not quite as bad as teaching them to drive a car 🤔 We’ll see. But awful nonetheless! Godspeed my friend.
steve has by far taken the majority of teens/driving cars training–thankfully!
I have those PJ’s and they are great but mine have faded and pilled so much. Have you tried the Target version? I actually think they are more comfortable and have held up better.
I read one review said they pilled but then another said if you wash them correctly (what does correctly mean? I’m not sure yet…) they held up better… I didn’t know Target made something so similar, but of course… they’re Target!

Looks like they are low on sizes and colors but probably will stock back up in the fall/winter. Keep an eye out for them! I love them.

Mackinac island is lovely!! We used to go all the time when I was growing up. Now I’m in Texas and enjoy Lake Travis 🙂 and that tote, all the heart eye emojis! I had no idea they were making totes.

Yes you do! And while you’re there, you have to check out Sleeping Bear sand dune and Leelanau peninsula area… breathtaking!
Stranger Things 3 was the best season of tv I’ve seen in awhile. I wish I could watch it again for the first time. Highly recommend!
Stranger Things 3 was good! I think there are just so many shows, that unless you watch something immediately, you miss the “conversation.” I’m rewatching Sharp Objects … just because. I liked it the first time and I’m enjoying it on rewatch, too.
I just got those PJ’s in shorts/short sleeves (necessary for Houston!). Can’t wait to try them out. I’ve also just started Veronica Mars and am thoroughly enjoying it-and the early 2000’s music (Death Cab, Santana, etc)! I watched the first episode of the Central Park 5 show-I don’t know if I can do another episode! Devastating.

All I buy at the Nsale anymore is that exact bra (like 5 years in a row) and a bunch of the same pair of underwear. Living it uppppppppp.

Mackinac Island is one of my happy places. We try to go every year.
We just spent a few days on Lake Keowee, which made the lake list with Seneca, SC! I grew up near there, so I’m totally lake-spoiled. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Whew, way to go on potty-training another one….I’ve been putting off potty-training my second because I still have PTSD about the first! HAHA
