Gotta love husbands. Mine mocks me mercilessly whenever I wear shorts with tights during the cooler months. My revenge: bought our baby girl some corduroy shorts. I plan to pair them with tights before the weather gets too warm. The two of us together — he won't be able to take it.

I love the head scarf. My fiancé is so sweet when he doesn't understand my fashion decisions. He'll get this genuinely confused look on his face and ask something like, 'But WHY have that little belt up around your waist like that? It's serving no purpose.'

this dress looks great on you! seems perfect for both comfy mom days and I-want-to-look-cute days. I'm totally tempted to buy it [that price!] but I'm having a hard time deciding if I'd look ridiculous as a short person…hmm.
i will say, it's pretty long, but a solution could be to belt it and pull it out and have it blousey at the top (above the belt) to shorten it!

thanks mary beth!! so the cuff… it was a gift from one of my best friends years ago… she got it in athens, georgia where she went to school (uga). i think it was a thing a lot of people had down there. that is not much help!!

in the winter i wear a bonnet/headband/knit thing and ofer- my boyfriend- said to me once, 'hey emily, the 20′s called. they want their hat back….. yeah, the 1720′s! the last time those were popular!'
