It was a success. Bellies were full… of turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes (both regular and sweet!), cranberry pear chutney, and rosemary rolls, wine, peanut butter mousse pie and a bumbleberry pie too… yummm. And, as you’ve already seen, we were able to eat that deliciousness for days. I really enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving, more than I thought I would. Minus the little hiccup when, the night before, I realized my table cloth didn’t fit the table when it was extended (as it had to be so everyone could sit comfortably!). It was a typical form over function fight. Me being like, “Steve, we can just make it work!” and Steve saying, “No one will be able to move their elbows cause they’ll be sitting so close!” Pinterest came to the rescue. I saw this pin and one quick stop at our local farmer’s market, the greens and tangerines were bought and I added the cranberries and swapped out the pillar candles for my silver candle sticks. Shazam, thanks Pinterest.
How was your Thanksgiving?
oh, thanksgiving, i love you. it sounds – and looks – like a mahvelous time! gorgeous photos. xo
This is so freaking fancy with a touch of European. Love the slightly different water glasses and the candle chandelier. And Steve at the head of the table with Parker (or Parker at the head of the table with Steve…whatever).
great impromptu table decor bridget! looks like a fabulous time. and Parker-man is adorable as always.
@elizabeth, we are NOTHING if we aren't fancy with a tough of european.
and the water glasses variance was really cause i didn't have enough of one kind. mehhhhhhh.

Perfection. That's what those pictures are!
Girl, you did a GREAT job. How beautiful. Everything.
I am so proud of you for having a little infant babe and pulling of a truly lovely Thanksgiving too! WHOA!
Pat your hot self on the back.
Everything looked gorg! Don't you love those moments of inspiration -and the greens & tangerines looked better than any tablecloth would have! xo Ahslyn
That looks delicious! We make a chutney, too, glad we're not alone it's so much better than canned cranberry sauce with the ripple can marks on it! LOL.
looks lovely! glad you enjoyed 🙂
Don't you think Thanksgiving is wonderful? I wish I could do it again this week. 🙂
wham bam thank you ma'am, pinterest saves the day. you're like a modern day, not so swindling martha stewart.
Awesome! Pinterest is amazing!
I love that shot of everyone. But… what were you wearing?! I want to know!
Looks like a great time! Everything is so proper and pretty looking, unlike my Thanksgiving where mostly everthing was in plastic containers, and everything was scattered from the kitchen to the coffee table! At least it was something to laugh at ♥
Shazam Pinterest is right! It's basically how my whole Thanksgiving came together:) Yours looks lovely, and cozy, and delicious. Just as a good gathering should! Well done. And those kids of yours, adorable!
the greens and tangerines look lovely. pinterest to the rescue yet again. has gotten me through a couple of jams myself!
Gorgeous! Everything looks like it went perfectly. Most of all, every one sitting around the table looks so comfortable and happy to be there. Great job!
it looks magazine-worthy, congrats! much more classy than thanksgiving in a graduate dorm 😉
That table looks perfect to me. As in, I kinda want to recreate it.
Is sister Kate doing some sort of jazz hand? I love her.
Glad it was a happy day, B.
Your table looked great, and it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves. You have a beautiful family!
@the rigolosos, i think she was pointing to quinn (who sadly, is out of the shot) to look at the camera. but i think jazz hand is way better.
I want a candle chandelier but I have a fear of things falling on my head and an equally irrational fear of setting myself on fire. So I don't think it would work out.
Everything looks beautiful. Especially all the people. How exhausting/wonderful holidays are with all those kids.
Can I have Thanksgiving with you guys next year? It looks oh-so homey.
those pies sounds awesome! dessert is my fave part of thanksgiving!
