We picked out our tree after church on Sunday. The skies were cloudy and, would you believe it, we had light flurries while we bustled about at the cold tree farm finding the perfect tree. We came home and put it up while the kids scrambled around bringing decorations up from the basement, exclaiming about the memory behind each one, asking where things should go, and drinking in the Christmas spirit. We listened to Handel’s Messiah and Bing Crosby (husband’s favorite) and moved about until the house looked like Christmas had really arrived. And it had. Then we toasted with some sparkling apple cider as the day was done.
Wonderful:) The tree looks amazing! We also started to decorate our place…Its pretty much done…just a few more touches:) I love this season:)
Kisses
