Time for a change?
I don’t know, I don’t know.
I have a hard time with change.
But I do know that my first day really playing with Photoshop has been fun and the header is the fruits of my labor (and Spidatter’s who gave me a quick lesson).
I can’t forget to mention the seriously awesome clipart from Pugly Pixel for the shipping tag updated again – now the thanks is for the flowers! (and Kelly Ann where I discovered it).
This sounds like a VMAs speech or something.
Cue the music. I’m done.
P.S. Anyone know how to get free fonts on your Photoshop? I tried it but Photoshop says it doesn’t recognize the file. You bettah recognize, Photoshop. Help, anyone?
Have a good weekend.
I love these guys. And these pictures.
Dear Family,
I’m so glad we got these family pictures done. But, now that I know how sweet it is to capture these memories, these ages, haircuts, the braces and height, I think I want to do it every year. Okay, family?
Thanks for managing to stay grass-stain free until the very end. And for cooperating with the smiles and all of that.
And sorry when I’m a grouch (except the times when you really deserve it).
I love you.
Mom/Bridget
I love dogs.
I am a die-hard dog lover. My husband sometimes gives me grief because he says I love them more than people. Will you who understand tell him to lay off? I won’t completely deny his accusations though I won’t confirm them either. The way I see it, they are these perfect little beings that are designed to love from the moment of birth to the moment of death. You’re fat, skinny, stupid, smart, live in a big house or small… they will love you desperately either way. So, you can imagine my absolute anguish (I’m not being dramatic. I think anguish describes it.) when I read this story this morning. Warning: it’s not happy. Why do I feel the need to share it with you? Because I am sad so I want you to be sad with me.
(Spoiler alert: I cannot believe this dog could survive a suicide bomber but NOT an idiot employee at a U.S. shelter. It makes no sense. I hope the employee is canned. He gives the dog 2 days?!?? What the? I am usually more forgiving than this but right now I’m just pissed.)
On a brighter note, December is on its way and so is my fanshmamtastical favorite things!
And another brighter note, I signed up to be a volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter this morning (my completely small part in this sad story)! Hopefully I’ll bring a little lovin’ in to these dogs lives (and hopefully I won’t bring every one home with me).
Have you guys ever seen this place?!
The Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur seriously calls my name. Its architecture is completely organic and it is nestled in the cliffs, people. There are pools, mountains, daily yoga classes, restaurants and a spa.
Stop it.
Steve, let’s go. Like yesterday.
