That table setting is fabulous! Parker in those yellow pants…he is just too much! I'm glad y'all had a great weekend! Our Saturday was good but I was sick Sunday and the boys went to church and brunch without me. 🙁 IT's ok though, we can celebrate Easter all year!

Loving Parker's Easter attire. Your friend really sets a great table- I thought I did a great job this weekend, but all I did was put out a colorful tablecloth and pretty (paper) napkins 😉

hello! looks like a fun day…
I have a wee question for you please – I am from New Zealand, and over here we (or, me and my family and most families I know) just do hot cross buns over the weekend and break out the chocolates on Easter sunday. Some people get lots of eggs, some maybe just one – whatever – but as far as I know 'we' don't do the easter basket thing. Is that a US tradition? something that many people do, or is it more unique to your family? What is usually in the baskets? are they simple, some lollies/small toys etc, or are some a bit more hard core?
Sorry – I hope I make sense and don't come across as judgey, I am genuinely interested as I have seen these easter baskets around the blogs a bit over the last weeks or so and I was wondering how widespread the tradition is in the states!
Thanks!! love your blog
bridget says
hi julia!! i actually don't know the answer to that, but it's definitely something that's fairly widespread here – religious/non-religious families alike! the baskets can have a little toy/trinket and usually some jellybeans/chocolate. not much!
not judgy at all!
and thanks for the blog love 🙂
