and we’re back. here to start us off is a snap of the three of us in the family restroom–our second visit to it within the first ten minutes of our target run. so far so good! it’s such fun trying to squeeze that cart in the door as it tries to swing shut on you!!
here we go… after the jump. all the things that you must get at target……… right now.
cliiiiiick!
all of your buffalo check meets outdoorsmen needs should you be embarking upon a hike through the oregon woods any time soon. style does NOT need to be sacrificed here! don’t forget your chemex and carhartt hat! tag @pnwonderland when you go!
this shea moisture aisle. i really can’t say i know anything about it but i feel as though i should want it just based on the size of the collection and shelf space alone. is it any good? it is pretty and if that’s any indication…
i love a good cleaning supply aisle. also, the craziest thing happened here. i came thiiiiis close to swapping out my old stand by (mrs. meyer’s lavender countertop spray) for her red clover scent. it was so insane! i smelled one, the other, back again, then i decided today is not the day to be daring. lavender it is (was).
a chambray dress! light or dark! yes way chambray!
how’s that foot tasting, anders? by the way – getting through target with him alive is a feat in and of itself. even though that strap is so tight against his chest, he will wriggle out of it and be standing before you can say target. he is suuuuuch a little monkey. (i did not lose his shoe–i shoved it in my bag.)
a lot of annie’s products because… it’s annie’s. need i say more?
these tapestry things are really still having their moment, aren’t they? this one is beautiful. i can’t help but think of dust when i look at them, but i still do admit they’re easy on the eyes.
i sort of wish i were one of those people with a beautiful stocked bar cart. you’d come in and i’d be all, “what’ll it be? a little bourbon? how about a manhattan? extra dirty? you got it.” then i’d do that dancing girl emoji but like in real life before i handed you your drink. anyway, this is a pretty rattan one. also pretty to wheel it out to your deck in the summer months.
chocolate/beer stuff for valentine’s day for your man candy, i guess? i dunno. i guess if you’re into that sort of thing. give me the good stuff, though.
when i go down these craft aisles (especially the kid made modern brand) my self-evaluation tools fly out the window and i say to myself, very seriously, “you really are crafty, bridget, and you need one of everything in this aisle. you know, for all those crafts you’re always pinning and then making with perfect execution.” it doesn’t make any sense, but it happens to me every time.
loose sequin pants? not one of you need them. not a one. keep walking.
that’s all folks.
(of note – i hear the w3llpeople makeup at target is awesome? i looked but to no avail, it’s not being carried at mine yet. PISSED.)

I do too! I recently got their moisturizing shampoo and really like it!

Totally agree. Use it on my kids, especially all the curly hair products. Smells amazing.
Sam says
I've only tried the shea moisture body lotion but I really like it. It's perfect for winter as it is super moisturizing, and you can sometimes find discounts on the cartwheel app.
Alex Byer says
GIRL. when you find it, get w3llpeople. it's amazing. so clean (in ingredients), so pigmented. i love the bio brightener stick, the mascara, and the narcissist foundation sticks.
Alex Byer says
ALSO! we have the w3ll people line at follain! come see me!
bridget says
one of these days i'm actually going to GET THERE!
Miranda Mills says
Shea Moisture is amazing!I use their lemon body scrub twice a week, it's the best. The bathroom and myself smell like luscious lemon for days.
bridget says
oooh. i love the sound of that.

Craft aisle, ever time. I can't tell you how many rolls of pretty washi tape I have. Have I done anything with them? Nope! But they sure are pretty when I look in our office closet.

Mrs. Meyer's basil kitchen spray and I are in a very committed relationship right now. Also I saw someone buy those pants from Target on Sunday. No lie. Don't worry that someone wasn't me.
Emily says
This is my favorite series you do. I also love randomly browsing Target aisles for crap I don't need. 🙂
Rachel S says
I used Shea Moisture baby lotion for my baby for awhile and I wasn't a fan. It was very strongly scented (smelled like Frankenscence) to the point that I felt bad putting it on my baby. I just found the smell to be overpowering.
Sarah M says
The bar cart, yes! Same aspirations. I think of Gilmore Girls when they go to the elder Gilmore's house for dinner every Friday night and they mix a drink from that ritzy cart in the sitting room. Do I need a giant house in Connecticut to pull it off?
Also, the things we tell ourselves in the Target craft aisle. I'm so glad to hear I'm not alone in this phenomenon. I have not one, but TWO "glitter libraries" to prove it. Which I thought about the ridiculousness of owning when the cork popped off the purple one two days ago when I was boxing them up for their new home in the garage. Purple glitter for daaays. Despite a thorough vacuuming session, I find pieces of glitter adhered to my cleavage no less than two times a day. It's best to avoid that aisle all together.
bridget says
hahahaha your glitter story.
Caitlin says
Mrs. Meyer's. Oh man. It's the good stuff. I love the basil, but couldn't stop myself from buying about 10 bottle of the winter cranberry scent when it was on clearance after Christmas.
bridget says
i got their orange clove recently – holiday special- and love it!!

I noticed the Shea Moisture aisle too. When my son was born (six years ago), I tried all different sorts of shampoos and washes for him, and solidly landed on Shea Moisture. I've been using the Raw Shea Chamomile and Argan Oil Baby Shampoo + Wash as shampoo and body wash for him and body wash for me, as well as all the hand soap in our place. I love it.
Totally tried on that chambray dress (the dark one) — it jumped out at me too. It didn't work on me, but I could totally see someone else rockin' the shizz outta that thing.
Speaking of rockin' the shizz, you are killin' it in that first pic with the denim shirt plus scarf combo. NICELY DONE! Lookin' great.
Lara says
Oh gosh, yes, the fitting of the cart into the family bathroom – not for the weak of spirit or arm! I wish we could go to Target together! I have a feeling a Bridget Target run is always full of interesting diversions…something my husband does not find very amusing??!?
Jennifer Healy says
I am a Mrs. Meyer's die hard lavender user, too. Although the limited edition peony scent last spring was amazing for hand soap and I'm so sad I didn't buy more than one. First world problem…
Julie says
LOL re your comment on the sequin pants! I saw the pic 1st before scrolling down to the commentary, & I was like "wtf???" For a second there I was doubting your sanity! 😛
Riotous Living says
This was hilarious and also those sequin pants are awful. But I really do want a macrame wall hanging.
