sometimes life can be hard.
certainly, this is no surprise to most of you, or all of you.
but call me naïve (and seriously, naïve it is), i didn’t really know.
i didn’t know, or at least didn’t expect that there would be things that were
hard and would also be out of my (and all of our) control.
i have learned that, as i’ve gotten older, and it hasn’t been the most fun lesson.
so, for any of you feeling pain or fear today, i’d hug you if i could.

I was doing some work at the LA Food Bank and they have a back pack program which gives kids food and food vouchers to give to their parents for food. I guess before the kids were barely eating over the weekend… a good motivation to keep your kids in school too!

True, life isn't always a bowl of cherries. I guess we just do the best we can and keep moving forward.

Thank you.
Thank you for being so real & honest. I had one of the hardest weeks in my life last week. I mean weren't we supposed to find love [have or don't have] kids and all would be well?! 🙂 Hang in there. Hugs from AZ.

Yes, indeed. Life is hard. Life has truth and consequences. Neither of which I like to face. Hang in there. Tomorrow is a better day!

Sometimes gtting older isn't all it's cracked up to be – we become more aware of what's really going on around us and we realise it's not as fantastic as it all first seems.
I'm sorry for whatever has made you feel this way. Sending happy thoughts your way 🙂

It is so true, but one of the greatest ways we have found to push through the hard is to continue to help – even in the midst of asking for help ourselves!
DC struggles economically because so many people who work here commute in, brining all of their spending power back outside of the district and those who "live" here often keep their residency somewhere else – again supporting a different local economy.
There are so many under stocked food banks, under staffed schools, and under supported volunteer organizations to help DC children that it can be heart breaking…
Wow…really long comment. Summary: even when its hard, it helps to help.
Hug {and a ginger ale} from across bromley…I wish!
