my friend made the most delicious hot apple cider when i was at her house last night
she carmelized cream, vanilla, and brown sugar, i think?
then added it to normal apple cider and heated it all up.
folks, i don’t have the recipe
but it’s not like we severed ties last night…
i can get it from her.
in the meantime, i added some cream
and a tad bit of brown sugar to apple cider last night
and it was still pretty yum
it was a lazy version of hers i guess.
not as good, but good things come to those who wait
pretty good things come to those who don’t
and it was pretty good.
Hahah that sounds really good! I would love to know the recipe if you can get it from your friend:)
Glad you had fun!
Btw:I made the chocolate chilli two nights ago and it was a huge hit! Thanks:)

YUM! Love apple cider. My recipe is the SERIOUSLY lazy version, but it's damn good. Get a gallon of store bought cider, stick a large orange with 4-5 cloves, and throw it all in a crockpot with a couple cinnamon sticks (on high for a few hours). Then, voila. Amazing apple cider that took no work whatsoever. My kinda recipe!
i want recipe please!
it would be a perfect spooky treat for a halloween party this weekend.
maybe like dirty breast milk. haha i'm grossing myself out.
mmmmmm! this sounds so good! feel free to send some my way
haha
all these amazing apple cider recipes!! i'm going to have to get 4 large pots and a million gallons of cider to make all of them.
sounds amazing!
That TJs apple cider has been my lifeline for the past 2 weeks. Seriously. I might as well stick an IV in and ingest it that way. I'm pretty sure I'm now 25% apple cider. Not that I'm complaining.
yerm. that sounds delightful. did i tell you i did the cinnamon on pears the other day because of you? it was a treat.
mmmmm i love cider. and caramelized cream? oh you're so bad…in a good way.
yum
That sounds incredibly delicious and decadent!!! Yum!
there are few things better than hot apple cider. mulled wine certainly falls under that category (or a la francaise, vin chaud). mmmm….
Oh yes, please get that recipe! Its cold and dreary here and WA and some homemade apple cider will definitely hit the spot
I've been looking for a lazy version of hot apple cider, haha! I love it, but it's such a pain to make so I'm going to try just adding some cream and brown sugar and see how it goes!
I had my first apple cider, in quite some time, while i was in Austin this past weekend and it reminded me of being younger and all the fabulous festive fall things!
